This is a big expansive place offering a range of classes and a very buzzy cafe at the back, as well as massage and healing options. Solo travellers and groups alike will find options and i particularly recommend the meditation class with Punnu.

Went to Yoga Barn last year and was in construction, seemed that the new building would be amazing but, contrary, they still allowing too many people in the class. It smells tremendously bad, the class becomes unprofessional for the price you pay and suddenly you realize there's just an overcrowded trendy place. There are fee other options in Ubud to... More

I do quiet a lot of yoga in my every day life but this for me is the kind of place that could put me off yoga for life! The staff at the desk is totally clueless. Not a clue what they are selling, told me to go and read about the workshop I was interested in. The place is... More

So I came to bali in Apr 2017 and planned to do 3 days of detox (yoga and healing). Unfortunately had an accident and broke my wrist so no yoga. Reached my hotel in ubud late 7:40 (20 min before they close), so called yoga barn to at least to book the healing. It was fully booked except one spot... More

I adore the Yoga Barn. I have only attended one yoga class, however I have joined a number of the meditation classes and have really enjoyed them. They offer a great variety, from sound healing and gong bath, to Tibetan and crystal bowl meditations. The Garden Kafe serves delicious, healthy meal choices that are more than friendly to a variety... More

Joined a Morning Flow class and was amazed about the fantastic view in the nature during the class and the morning sun that joined us. (So very well planned architecture.) Teacher was very good too and the atmosphere was very relaxed and positive. Just be aware that you arrive at least half an hour before the class starts cause they... More

They'd squeeze in so many people, I was among 80 yogis who attended a class in the morning. It's crazy. I practice yoga in Singapore where it's not uncommon to be crammed in a small room with 20 other yogis but that's because space is expensive, and to think that I have to experience this same crammed feeling here? I... More

Highs: Huge yoga place in Ubud. A lot of classes to choose from and at various times too. Rustic environment, almost like a mini forest. Free community classes (we took acroyoga). No need to bring a mat, blanket or bolsters. Affordable. You can pay per class using your credit card but make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before... More
