    Such a fun experience!!
We went with the another couple that we were travelling with and we all had a great time. Walking the market in the morning was so interesting and the food we preparing was some of the best we eat while in Bali. It was nice to have had a pick-up at our villa and a drive back after the class was over. Over all, I would highly recommend this experience!!

A must-do when in Ubud for foodies!
This cooking class was brilliant and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Following a trip to the market in the morning, we were taken to the cooking school where we prepared a delightful selection of Balinese cuisine. Puspa was a phenomenal host - full of fun and knowledge! We had an amazing day and I will go back next time I am in Ubud.

    Fantastic cooking experience.
This was our best organised experience in Bali. Puspa, the host, is perfect for entertaining a crowd. She's knowledgeable and very humorous. There was another group cooking at the same time as us though we had a small kitchen area to ourselves. The prep and cooking process was really enjoyable and the food we cooked was amazing. So full of flavour and amongst the best we had in Bali. We were given a recipe book so will be looking forward to repeating these dishes at home.

    Awesome cooking experience in Ubud
Such a fun and interesting experience - I learned so much and had an amazing time. Our teacher, Wayan was full of information about so many different things, not just the food, and delivered it in a cheeky and fun way. Everyone from our driver to the assistants at the cooking school were just so friendly and happy and made it a truly fun day. Oh and the food we cooked was incredible!!!

    Delightfully Delicious!
This was a wonderful surprise! The owner of the school invited us into her Temple. Then we divided into cooking teams and made the most amazing meal. The class was hands on, and the meal divine. Touring the Temple was the icing on the cake! The price is right. Hotel transport was included. I highly recommend!

    A truly Balinese Experience
The cooking class was conducted in a home environment that made the experience special. Madam Pushpa, our instructor, was amazing - she taught us Balinese cooking techniques and her lesson was so fun and easy to follow. We had a whale of a time and made new friends! The food that we prepared were simply delicious!

    Would recommend!
My partner and I did this cooking class as part of an Intro travel group. We really enjoyed every aspect of the experience and got to prepare as well as cook lots of different traditional Indonesian dishes. Would definitely recommend this to friend (and already have) 😃

Cooking and fun all in one
Make your own Balinese meal Puspa, who created this cooking class along with her husband is very entertaining. There were eleven in our group and then several Ausi guys who took this class. First you do the prep cutting up all the fresh ingredients. Then the prep table magically turns into a cooking station. We did everything with great supervision by Puspa and her friendly, patient staff. Everything was delicious, especially the satay. We left with happy bellies and instructions for recreating the dishes which we made.

    Lots of fun!
This class is lots of fun. They run a well oiled machine and clearly have experience in handling groups. It’s not a small class which would be the only thing I’d change but it was fun, we made several dishes and got to have feast at the end. Approved!

Excellent activity I would recommend to all.
So well organized! Beautiful location, interesting market visit. Recipes were many and very well explained. A class of 12 people worked together efficiently and seamlessly. The result was delicious and easy to replicate. No suggestions to improve…everything was perfect!

We had so much fun at the Paon Cooking Class. We were picked up from our hotel where we had a tour of the food market beforehand which we really enjoyed finding out about the local fruits and spices that we’ll cook with. We then arrived at the host’s house where the family greeted us like old friends! They were very accommodating, informative and friendly. We liked the way it was set out as it was a fairly large group but it worked well, cooking for each other but also taking it in turns in your own individual group so everyone gets to be head chef! It was very casual, easy-going and lots of fun. The food was delicious too!

We attended an afternoon cooking class at Paon as part of the events schedule for a wedding we were attending in Bali. It was a comprehensive journey from gathering ingredients in the market to prep work and basic cooking, all with demonstrations and walkthroughs from Ibu Puspa and her family. The entire process was around five hours, but it was paced very well with plenty of time to have a coffee or take photos of the family temple on site. We really loved this experience, but be very discerning if you interact with the merchants in the market. We bought some lovely vanilla beans but were quite disappointed with the saffron we purchased there. If you'll be traveling to Ubud, I highly recommend this cooking class as an immersive alternative to some of the more touristy attractions you'll find in the city.

We were picked up at 2.15 and arrived promptly at 3pm. We were joined by 10 other people all of varying nationalities, which made for an enjoyable dining experience.

My wife and I had such an fun experience learning and cooking some authentic dishes. Our host Puspa was so energetic and fun to cook with, she made it very simple to follow.

We were provided with a recipe book on exit and we are both looking forward to trying the dishes at home. If you're looking for a cooking class, this is the one you need to book!

We enjoyed a memorable afternoon at Paon Bali Cooking Class, beginning with the exceptionally beautiful setting in which we found ourselves. The class takes place in the owner’s home that includes a stunning family temple. The outdoor kitchen area is large and welcoming, and the class itself is informative, engaging, and allows many “hands on” opportunities, including grinding ingredients in the traditional manner.

We have been fortunate to take part in a number of cooking classes during our travels. Paon Bali Cooking Class ranks #1. It offers an authentic, complete, and memorable cultural experience.

Food was very beautiful and authentic.
A must do cultural experience for any level of cook.
Super stars.
You can take this experience and do at home so easily, they have made the cuisine accessible to everyone.
I will do the class again next time we return to Bali.

We really enjoyed the market tour, our guide explained everything very well, we tried (and bought) food not only for the class ahead but for ourselves as well, and he was great in recommending what to buy.

The class was engaging and fun, and the kids and we had a great time. Very hands on, we definitely prepared all the ingredients and cooked.

We would definitely recommend this to others.
