Free and a must visit if you bring your family with children ... try not to go by car, parking is horrible .. or you can try parking accross the street

I think we were the only tourists there then, but there were hordes of students on field trip. Most of the descriptions were in Bahasa. The students were more interested in us then the subject!

Maybe not as a main destination but it is a good museum to stop by when you have extra time or just nearby. Ancient elephant fossil is the star and it nicely welcome you at the entrance.

Modernized and well up to date. Clean, spacious, with modern attractions (3-D photography), ample objects, clear, colourful, interesting, good information, latest scientific news. A lot of enthusiastic children. A very joyful experience, no wonder they got several rewards. Well deserved
