Just went passed this historical famous river... Went down for some photographs and stuff.. Nothing much to see but only the wide and long river. The water looks a bit dirty due to the brownish color from the land's soil...

Without any disrespect, I know that this river has a lot of history with the people of Java, but to consider all of the river as an attraction is a big no from me. I mean, there just several spots that are friendly to be...More

Unfortunately , the river is rather murky and there is nothing much to see. Not worth the effort. Better eat the Kueh Lapis of the same name in Singapore, really excellent!

Bangawan Solo is a river but it is most famous as the song title. I was enthuastic to see because of the song. The river was not well maintained, it is a bit dirty and there is no other things to see related to it.

With the heavy rains, the be bagawan solo River was about 6m deep at the river banks. Nothing much to see except locals sit near at the river banks for picnic. Couple of food stalls. Not clean with lots of rubbish on the river banks.

This river bank could have been cleaner and should have been managed better. It's a big and great river but maybe because people in general have low awareness about their environment so it is rather dirty.
