Beautiful Taoist temple adjacent the sea in Kenjeran Park. The building itself is ornate and in the style of most temples of Chinese worship. The odour from candles, oil lamps and joss sticks was very noticeable when we entered but provided the only artificial illumination of the interior. On the seafront, a statue of Guan Yin stands atop and arched entrance with a bodyguard on either side, and also Four God Kings who watch over the four corners of the world. The arch structure is regarded as a 'heaven gate' and is guarded by a pair of Heavenly Dragons. Wonderful.

Love this place very much. Very peaceful and beautiful. You will find many Taoism gods inside the temple. The view is great. It is just next to the sea. We didn't stay very long there as the weather was really hot.

Good Buddhist temple near the beach. Mostly very busy area. Do not have sufficient parking space. Not very well manage.

I enjoyed my visit to this park. Opposite the park is a rather old Chinese/Buddhist temple that stretches out almost to the shore. The shore has little to see, but the smell is threatening.
The park where the Heavenly God seats is amazingly peaceful and scenic. I would encourage visiting this place.

This chinese temple is dedicated to Chinese deities and other Asian religious icons. The temple is a worship place for the follower of Confusius, Bhudda and Tao. The main icon of this temple is a 20 meters tall statue of Guan Yin on the waterfront. The location of this temple is on the "Kenjeran" beach and it's also a recreation park. Local people come for praying or just hanging around for pictures. Almost no foreigner come to this place. The atmosphere is like a part of China.

We were not told that we had to pay the entrance fee to the Ken Park in order to see this because it's in the Park compound. Included in the compound is the Kuan Im Temple.

Very big buddhist statue, dragon and various buddhist god and goddess. Feels like thailand temple ambience. Some statue located at beach side, a perfect scene to take photograph.

Located inside New Kenjeran beach, the temple has many statues of worship. On the opposite side of the road, there is a massive 4 face statue.

I usually come here to pray and send some flowers for my late Dad as the location is good to do both. Some special days on the Buddhist calendar, the temple would arrange some activities.

I used to come here as a kid on weekends, back in the day where the big malls did not exist. It is busy on weekends but weekdays the whole complex looks abandoned. There is entrance fee to the complex but the temple itself is free of charge.

This famous Buddhist Temple is located in north east of Surabaya. The building has two faces, one is facing the street and the other is facing the sea. In the building there are god statues, relics and candles. Some of the candles are more than one meter tall. Buddhis people do the praying here. Although this is a Buddhist Temple, but it is opened for everyone. We can take photos and enjoy the sea view. In the yard, we can find big gods & goddess statue.
Not far from this place, on the other side of the street, there is a four-faced Buddha statue.
