Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beautiful piece of artwork in an equally impressive area. It might on the face of it look basic and simple, but once you’ve taken a moment to properly admire you realise the beauty. If you’re in the area you must see this.

Visiting Old Jaffa is more than just going into galleries. Many times, tourists look at the tree without understanding the artist. Jaffa was knowned for its Jaffa Oranges (A brand that was sold to a Spanish firm...) Instead of the orchards, we now have towers and buildings. The tree is the air, coming out of an egg like shape. Perhaps the re-birth of the country. It is in the air, which means that the roots of the tree are not solid in the earth, and it will take many years for the Jewish state to be fully attached to the land again after 2000 years of exile.

Not a big attraction but a fun and interesting tree, worth visiting for a couple of minutes and great pictures if you are in Jaffa Old Town.

It was just amazing to see a suspended tree survive and thrive in that way, never saw anything like it.

Now part of municipal Tel Aviv, but with a charm and interest of its own, Yafo (the Hebrew spelling; Jaffa is the Arab), has incredible art in its small area. One of the objects I like the most is a hanging orange tree ( a piece of art, not a piece of nature). Once you see it, you are not likely to forget it. See you there!

Modest but powerful symbol of Miracle&Hardship of Survival. Even if you are uprooted, it is possible to grow and give fruits; providing that you take care of your roots. Even on stone desert... And it mirrows situation of Palestinians who inhabit Israel, as they have to grow in suspension, like this orange tree.

The history of the orange plantation and the export of oranges in earlier days much more interesting than the suspended Orange tree. It is a tree in a hanging pot, pretty much.

A walk through the old city of Jaffa has to either start, end, or contain passing by this homage to what was. In front of you is the new Jaffa, and behind you are its walls and beginnings. Go walk through history and discover this work of art.

This is fun, but see it during daytime as at night it's quite hard to find and is not well lit. It's a nice piece of living art but felt soul-less when the surrounding artists' quarter is closed up (and it was only 8.30pm).
