This is the coolest place! The building is great all by itself and the exhibits are timely and interesting. Give it a try, you won't be sorry you did.

We visited this while staying in Artesia for a few days. The main collection is held in a historic house which has many artefacts from the town. The kitchen is set up like the original would have been and it was very interesting to see...More

Nice art museum, beautiful old paintings, some from area where I live in Northern NM. Good gift shop too.

Let me start out by first saying how nice the curator is. Nancy is a very nice lady that was very much knowledgeable about the history of Artesia. I enjoyed all the exhibits that were on display here. I expecially enjoyed the fire truck.
