What can be said about Joseph. I feel he is the most under appreciated saint. To love someone else's child takes a man with a good heart. Here you can see his work site where he taught Jesus to fabricate stone and not wood as...More

Joseph’s Church is much smaller than Mary’s. Similarly there is a archeological site below the church of a ritualistic bath for purification. Just 2 minutes walk from Mary’s annunciation church. Paid parking in close by locations.

This church is connected to the church of the annunciation and supposedly is at the site where Joseph had his carpentry shop. If true it was in a cave in the hills here.

Very close to the Church of the Annunciation, this church is built over the ruins of the home of the Holy Family. It is interesting to get a perspective of how close Joseph and Mary lived to each other.

I loved this humble church of St. Joseph. The area in the basement may or may not be Joseph’s workshop, and that adds to the story and likability of this site in holy history.

Next to to the Basilica of Annunciation, this is a smaller church with a well in the catacombs. It is saying that the church is built over the carpentry work shop though there is no hard evidence to support. But the place is still inspiring...More

Tradition says that the Church of St Joseph is built over the carpentry workshop of the husband of the Virgin Mary. While there is no "hard" evidence to support the claim, it is still inspiring, with a series of caves underneath, that have been used...More

Close to the basilica is this smaller church with a well in the catacombs. When we were there chanting was going on which made it particularly magical
