Steeped in the Biblical history of the Galilee, Kfar Kedem recreates the day-to-day life of this ancient scenic land; threshing the grain, milking the goats, pressing oil from fresh olives and wine from fresh grapes to produce household staples, just like in ancient times. These tangible experiences connect with the roots of our heritage, the values and spirit of Bible times, which continue to be a part of our lives today.

Enjoy a wide variety of interactive, hands-on experiences, dressed in authentic period clothing. Our professional guides will enrich you with historical and spiritual content, while you enjoy warm hospitality and delicious, rustic dining in our shepherds' tent.

Re-creation of Talmudic-era Jewish village in Galilee. Docent will explain how to put on period clothes, then you ride donkeys. After that, short presentation on the life of the era, then you make your own pita & eat it.

A wonderful time. Amir is great and very funny. Donkey riding, pita making and pita eating were all a lot of fun.

These guys run a great family fun place. They really bring history to life in a memorable experience. Kids and adults both have a chance to learn a lot and take part in an interactive way. A must do if you are in the Galilee!

Our entire family Loved Kfar Kedem and our guide Amir was incredible. He brought us back to ancient times and the educational component mixed with the hands on experiences were great for children and adults alike. We visited in the winter but were still able to ride donkeys, crush olives for oil, bake pita bread and have a memorable day.... More

The staff was very patient and the donkeys were well trained. They spent a lot of time with my kids and answered everyone's questions. The fresh pita and hummus topped off our visit and gave us a full flavor of ancient middle eastern life.

Our family of 12 had the best time there. It was a unique experience with a good mix of fun and educational. Amir our tour guide was hysterical and good for the entire family. The best part was the carrier pigeon that we brought home to our hotel. The kids loved it and cannot stop talking about it.. Must do... More

What a great place to visit with a family. Our guide, the activities and the snacks were great. Such a fantastic experience for the kids. We made cheese, milked goats, made pita and rode donkeys. The kids learned about biblical times in a fun and informative way. Wonderful site!

My experience at kfar kedem was amazing. First you got to dress up like people from the mishna period (you put the dress piece on top of your clothes and you put on a head wrap, don't worry when you are done with the whole thing they wash the outfits). After you put on the costume they bring you herbal tea.... More

Kfar Kedem is a wonderful experience for adults and children of all ages. We started off the adventure by putting on the typical clothing of the Mishna period. This little touch contributed to making this a memorable and amazing time. After dressing up, we were given herbal tea and then, we rode donkeys around the farm's property. One person led... More
