Visited as part of our tour. Many people were participating in Baptisms in the River Jordan. A bit commercial. Fish do not hesitate to provide a free “nibble massage” on your feet.

It’s an easy way to get to the River Jordan. You can go down to the water’s edge and watch the catfish and other fish swimming around and imagine what it was like 2,000 years ago.

Whilst touring Israel and Jordan my wife and I went to the JORDAN River Village. My wife was baptized in the historic river.

Our group held a baptismal ceremony here which was very moving. It was an unforgetable experience. The river is much narrower than we thought but we are so glad that we came.

We have stopped riverside several times to view. The river has shrunk due to a long fraught. Still, IT is the River Jordan and has much historic and biblical importance.

We enjoyed walking around this quiet parklike area on the Jordan River. We didn't actually get into the river, but it was nice to see it up close, and the lush greenery was such a difference from how dry it is further south. We recommend...More

Jerusalem is the wettest region which gets the most rain year all year long. The water in the Dead Sea is cool but refreshing, but wear water shoes as the salt crystals will tear your feet, because they are razor shape. The... More
