It is not easy to find. There are hardly signs. Exit the main road at the church. After a couple of minutes drive up in the mountain we found it. Fee is 125, you will get a nice folder with all the different trees and...More

They told us on the phone it would be at least partly wheelchair accessible and thus we walked 5 km up a very steep hill but in the end there were steps everywhere.

Had a very interesting visit to the Spice Garden close to Anse Royale Beach. Loved the smells and of all the medicinal and other trees, plants and fruits. Many giant Aldabra tortoises that are close to 100 years old, even fed them some of the...More

Wonderful display of plants, trees and flowers set in a lush environment. You definitely need a map with the legend of all that is there to really gain appreciation for the different types of plants, spices, etc. There are a number of large turtles, cousins...More

The gardens are nice, but really worthwhile only for botanists. I personally prefer Mahe's many regular hiking trails which are all free, vs. the 125 SRC one had to pay at this garden.
