To go to Anse Major, you need to walk (climb a bit) across rocky road about 1h-1.5h. The beach is nothing special, far away of 'beautiful beach'. Sea water contains big rocks in some parts. Sand is a bit wet making a compact tough base...More

This is a pleasant walk over easy terrain. There are gentle ascents / descents and it is not recommended to do it in flip flops. There are occasional views of the coastline to enjoy and a lovely bay at the end for swimming or snorkelling....More

It's about 1h - 1h20min on foot, from the last stop of bus 21/Bel Ombre road/. Don't forget to bring enough water! The views are spectacular! It's very pleasant to get back by water taxi - 200÷250scr per person.

Nice place, only few people present. Long way to walk from Beau Wallon. But you can take a bus first.

TOP TIP: If you get on the trail between 9/9.30am then you'll have it to yourself and the beach will be deserted. It tends to get busier at around noon. So, if you want privacy, go early. TOP TIP 2: The trail brings you out...More

One of the thrilling trails in Mahe island. Good for rock climbing lovers.. It's along the shore with some steep ends. But once you start you will never give up to see that beautiful end.!

A hard walk if only because of the heat and humidity, take plenty of water you will need it and also your snorkeling gear. Wear good shoes as many rocks to negotiate could be slippery if wet. If you have a rental car then go...More
