The island is a natural park which you can only visit on day trips. Both taxi boats and full-day boat tours are quite expensive, like everything in Seychelles after all. Even so you will find quite a lots of tourists on the island, but also many giant tortoises which roam free and love to be fed with crunchy leaves. After... More

We booked a taxi boat without BBQ at Sagittarius for 25 euro plus 200R landing fee. The trip took about 15 min and although Kevin is a fast driver, he is experienced and even when you tend to get sea-sick like my girlfriend the short trip is totally ok. The drop off is at the main bay where a local... More

There are lots of tourists, but lots of giant tortoises as well. In addition to the park where they roam freely there is a nice walk trek around the bay to the Doctor's house with lots of mangrove trees and natural crab habitat. At the end of the trek you will find a small museum dedicated to the history of... More

beautiful island and its cool to see these animals - they eat leaves they offer you - the kids will love it…but the rest is a bit shabby…big seating are for tourists and groups barbecuing, not very inviting place other than the big turtles - if you don't need to feed and pet a turtle (my wife loved it…..) and... We took the taxi boat to the island and had a wonderful encounter with the giant tortoises, who like to be cuddled. They are really wonderful creatures. You can also see the 'baby' ones and you can feed the older ones. After the visit of the sanctuary, you can walk to the doctor's house. it's about 45 minutes through the... More

Worth visiting. First we played with the giant turtles and the kids fed them. Then we took the walk to the other side - very interesting, mangroves, tropical forest, rock formations - every 15 minutes the scenery was different. Might be a bit difficult if one is not fit, involves some stairs climbing and may get quite sunny and hot!!!... More

So much to see and do on this little island, and learn about the tortoises ( and what they did when the tsunami was approaching) - the walk along the wooden bridges is great and worth the little trek. Beautiful,

10 minute boat ride from Praslin İsland. Has a great beachand clear water on one side of the İsland. İf you are interested in seeing tortoises you have to walk about 2 km through the mangroves to the other side of the İsland.Giant tortoises are there in their natural habitat so you can see them closely, even feed them with... Traveled to the island with King Creole Charters (very competitive prices and worth the money). The island is beautiful and the tortoises amazing. Although with noticed that the Seychelle Nationals have no distinction between tortoise and turtles (we thought we were going to see nesting turtles!) Once seeing the tortoises at arrival, there is a 1.7km hike through the mangroves... More
