The island is really stunning and beutifull. There is many turtles all over the place, some of them is huge. We spend almost one hour before walking to the other beach for dinner. The walking to the other site was no problem for us, but...More

We took a boat from Praslin. Saw turtles of all age (the little ones are separated and so cute), stoke and fed them, they really like to be stroked on the front of the neck. Such a nice thing to remember. Then we took a...More

We booked a boat tour to Curieuse that included also a very tasty lunch. It's very amazing to see these big animals from so close. There is also a nice nursery with younger animals.

We took a day trip to the island combined with snorkeling at St. Pierre. The tortoises are totally tame and perhaps even "too" used to the tourists. No signs of stress were observed, but once wonders if this is really what a wild animal wants/needs....More

We went with a rubber boat to the island, therefore we landed just at the beginning of the sand. A bit of wet feet. Not really difficult other than to jump out of the rubber boat with the help of the other people.
