Fond Ferdinand is not as famous as Vallee' de Mai but it is a wonderful location to visit. Coco de Mer, nature and a magnificent view of the island from the hill. Worth to visit.

We visited Fond Ferdinand this time as we went to the Vallee de Mai on our last visit to the Seychelles. It was easy to find. We opted for the 9.30am tour and whilst there were quite a few in our group, it was manageable....More

We decided to visit Fond Ferdinand instead of Vallée de Mai. The guided tour was interesting and the view in the end was amazing. Worth the 680 stairs :) The entrance fee seemed to be fair as the guided tour was already included. The parc...More

We came to Fond Ferdinand after reading reviews and comparisons to Vallee de Mai. We were very happy with our decision. The hike is lovely though it does include many steps in the heat. We had the famous Julia nearly to ourselves - one other...More

Praslin has Vallée de Mai and Fond Ferdinand as nature resorts. We went to both and both were definitely worth the visit. Fond Ferdinand is much cheaper and the visits include a guide. We had a very good guide Julia, who took her time to...More

There is a ticket booth right at the entrance. I don't think you can pre-book via a website. Just be aware that the last guided tour leaves around 12.45/1 pm.

It is not difficult as there are steps everywhere. And you walk very slowly with many stops as the guide is explaining a lot along the way. There is nothing difficult or dangerous about it. So don't worry and enjoy!
