Arthur's tomb is on a corner plot. It is astoundingly beautiful and touching at the same time. It was hard to tell if the president was buried in the ground, or was located in the crypt. Inspiring!

Passes this cemetery many times finally had the time to stop and find Chester Arthur's grave. It was a beautiful appropriate last resting place for a president it seemed to me , it wasn't imperial as modern presidents last resting places are.

Albany Rural Cemetery holds the final resting place of President Chester A. Arthur. The cemetery is large, signage is sparse, and the grave is not easy to find, but a woman walking her dog pointed us in the right direction. Of the presidential gravesites that...More

This cemetery is beautiful, especially in the fall. Stop at the cemetery office first and they'll give you directions to the tomb and a list of other points of interest in the cemetery.
