About
Optical Illusion Paradise, Trick Eye Museum in Busan Trick Eye Museum brings a new concept of culture and entertainment space, where visitors can explore 3D optical illusion paintings and installations by “becoming one” with the artworks. Trick Eye is shortened from ‘Trick of the eye’ and refers to a traditional art technique Trompe-l’oeil that turns two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional images through the use of optical illusions. Paintings on museum walls, floors and ceilings come alive! Visitors are invited to step inside Trickeye paintings and installations and create their own original stories.

The Busan Trickeye Museum has relocated to near the Jalgachi Market of Busan. (It was previously in Oncheonjang). It was easily accessible on the Metro (orange Line).
Location/Getting there: Take the Metro to "Jalgachi Station" on the Orange line. Use Exit 7 , walk straight ahead to the corner, turn left and the Museum is located on level 9 of the Nampo Building,on your left, about a minute's walk straight ahead.
The Museum was full of optical illusions and interactive artworks where you can become part of the art and take pictures. It provides plenty of memorable photo opportunites and was a family friendly activity.
It's new location is more tourist friendly as you walk past it on the way to BIFF Square and Gukje Market. It is also five minutes' walk from the Jalgachi Fish market.
Entrance fee was 10,000 won for an Adult. Opening hours were 10am-9pm.
If you are in the area it's worth visiting if you are keen on some fun photos from your Busan trip.

We missed out the Trickeye Musuem at Jeju, so we decided to visit this at Busan. It was our first Trickeye Museum experience and it was a fantastic one. We didn't have fanciful camera, every click was just using our Samsung S4 and all the pictures are still awesome. Feel free to get the person-in-charge to help you take some of the shots, especially when you are in small group.
Surprisingly this place is not crowded though it is situated around the BIFF square, so you can have all the time by yourself to take all the fantastic shots.

Look at the review from August 13 for the directions as it is difficult to find. It is hidden on the 9th floor of what looks like an office block.
Once inside it still costs 10,000 per person, but we had a great time.
Basically, you just spend an hour or so taking silly photos, but we had a great time on a rainy afternoon, and the pictures were great.

There are many interesting photos to take. Just remember to check the photos before moving on to the next exhibit because they may not come out right. The place is small and it's expensive. Still it was an interesting experience but going once would be sufficient.

I have been to quite a few Trickeye museums and this is the best- new augmented reality adds a new dimension to your photos. We paid 11000 won for the combination ticket to both the movie museum and this museum ( the movie museum which opened recently already costs 10000 so this combination ticket is great value). Make sure you get the app. We went first thing in the morning and had the place to ourselves! Highly recommended!

This is great with at least one friend and more fun with 3 or more. Lot's of fun ways to take photos of each other creating 3D scenarios. We had a blast and now looking to visit another one in Busan, S. Korea!

Easily my favourite attraction ever! I hope to visit similar museums the next time I see them. It can take a bit of configuring to get the perfect picture but it's so worth it!
