The place is very unique as it used to be a lava tube. Very cooling in the cave, only 13oC. Would suggest to bring gloves if you are afraid of the cold. Unique and must visit.

The caves are a nice break from the blistering heat. Smart to bring a jacket if you get cold easily. Difficult to take pictures cause of dim lighting.

First visit to a lava tube. Good experience. They've made it very educational - signs mark and explain geological features at appropriate points. Great for visitors unfamiliar with geology to understand!
