Overview
More
At ARARIO MUSEUM TAPDONG CINEMA, unique art works of various artists (including Ugo Rondinone, Kohei Nawa, Andy Warhol and more) will be displayed all throughout the 1st to 5th floor. Super-sized arts which requires complicated installation such as "Hero No.2" by Zhang Huan and "What does the vessel contain, that the river does not know" by Subodh Gupta will be premiered in Korea for the first time. In addition, display of 4 large scale paintings by German Neo-expressionist Sigmar Polke will also contribute to create an overwhelming ambiance at the museum.

Fabulous collection of contemporary art. Interesting installations and sculptures. Worth visiting. Some important artists shown. I love that Sth Korea has really good contemporary art to view. There are also other exhibition spaces included in the ticket. Amazing really.

The owner of the museum is an artist himself and one of the most important collectors in the world. I was totally taken away with many of the artworks and with the location itself(specially the Bike-Shop and the Cinema). One of my reasons for traveling...More
