Thanks a million times over to the wonderful Raj at Sri Vacations Tours. 👸🏿🤩 My partner and I had the most magical 14 day holiday in Sri Lanka because of him. ❤️❤️❤️
We were so very lucky to have Raj who is the main man of this travel company be our tour guide / driver / travel companion through virtually our entire trip. His driving was very safe and his large comfortable air conditioned vehicle made travelling long distances way easier and more enjoyable.
Raj’s knowledge of the whole island was pivotal both in the planning stages and whilst on tour. Everything was prearranged and tweaked before leaving the UK. Initially we gave him a list of the places we potentially wanted to visit and the timeline. He took care of the logistics and proposed an excellent itinerary after that. It was very quick and easy to arrange with ongoing communication via WhatsApp.
Raj was so likeable and instantly easy to get along with. Even from day 1 we felt like we were travelling with a lifelong friend not someone we had just met. Also luckily for us he was fluent in English, Sinhalese and Tamil. Being trilingual as well as being a very friendly, funny guy teamed with being a good driver was worth a million dollars.
On our tour we travelled North to Jaffna and then down the east coast to Trincomalee before Sigirya and the cultural triangle including the ancient cities before heading back to Colombo and Galle. Raj with his expert knowledge proved invaluable on numerous occasions throughout.
Sri Lanka is a truly magical country with many contrasting landscapes and wonderful sites to visit. Although you can of course travel everywhere by public transport this takes more time and effort than having a designated driver.
Having Raj as our tour guide helped organise our time efficiently and effectively allowing us to get the best of the island packed into our 14 days whilst still relaxing and enjoying the ride.
We can only highly recommend Raj and his tour company Sri Vacations Tours. If you could design the perfect travel guide - Raj was it. The 6 star service ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ that we received for the price we paid was unbelievable.

Me and my sister did a 6 days trip with Raj. It was AMAZING!! We went to sigiriya, kandy, nwara elya, ella y hikkaduwa. He was extremely helpful, the car is super comfortable, clean and in excellent condition.
He speaks very good english and he always makes sure u feel safe and recomend the best restaurants!
He is very flexible, we had to change our schedule and he was very understanding!
Despite the bad news about Sri Lanka about protests, we never felt unsaved. It didnt affect our holidays
We loved every single place of our trip!

Getting to know Sri Lanka in 3 days! The plan succeeded, thanks to Raj. We are travelers that have visited: Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia already. And we can compare servis. In Sri Lanka, Raj accompanied us, doing everything to the maximum. We didn't have a precisely planned itinerary, just a few places in mind, leaving the rest to Raj. The first impression was genuine, and he was very good. Raj arrived in a clean and fragrant car, cultured and polite. His English is perfect, answering all our questions. The warm car waiting in the morning after cold night showed his client-focused approach. His recommendations for hotels, cafes, and food were spot-on. Despite unexpected leg issues, we adjusted our tour, and Raj was understanding. He has the ambition to be the best, and I truly believe he'll achieve it through sincere effort. We are from Lithuania, a country with the same area as Sri Lanka but only 3 million people. However, Sri Lanka is truly worth it; we'd travel more than 7 thousand kilometers to be there again. And Raj will be our tou agent of course!

My Family and I went to Anantara Tangalle for a week holiday. We tried to book with the hotel the transfer from the airport but price was extremely expensive. My husband found this agency that charge fairly I can say.. Driver,Rajes was professional, kind and friendly, and informative plus he speaks English.
He accompanied us to passby to a shop where we can buy some groceries and use the bathroom, he even came with us inside the mall. He and my husband had a lot of talks, that helped us comfortable during our long trip to Tangalle. Hes available on whatssapp and checked us during our stay.
We also booked the transfer back to Colombo thru him. He came on time, even earlier. We highly recommend him, and whenever we visit Sri Lanka again, will definitely contact him.

Our short time in Sri Lanka was made comfortable, enjoyable and interesting thanks to our excellent driver Vicky. We travelled from Colombo to Dickwella, then to Yala and back to Colombo via Marissa. We were very happy with our decision to hire a driver throughout this time and were especially lucky to have Vicky. He is a skilled driver with great English. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him and the local knowledge he had to share. As vegetarians, we were always on the lookout for local veg options. Vicky offered the best food recommendations in places we would have completely overlooked. Overall, a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend Vicky as a driver.

We loved our tour with Raj as he was able to make the tour for us individually with pick up from Colombo. The tour was very flexible and tailored for our needs.
The tour itself was absolutely fantastic and the tour guide was very helpful, spoke very good and clear English, so we would understand her easily as English is not our native language. We learned so much about the tea, the making process and the nature and surrounding of beautiful Sri Lanka.
Our driver and tour guide Raj is such an amazing, humble, friendly and helpful person and I cannot recommend anyone else than him to go on a tour in Sri Lanka! When we go back to Sri Lanka, Raj will be the first one to be contacted! :)

I have the chance to explore so much in only one day. Raj took me to Dambulla cave Temple where you will hike to the top and enjoy a beautiful view and enjoy the company of monkeys on your way, we went to a Village Safari and have a woman cooked us traditional meal with impressive way to cook it, some temples at Sigiriya Rock fortress and to end up the day, my first time with elephant. So much more in between… great way to explore a new country.
You can’t go wrong with Raj, he will adapt himself to what you wish to do.

We were very lucky to have Vicky as our driver. His local knowledge was excellent as he introduced us to many delicious Sri Lankan foods and was a very safe driver, making our journey enjoyable and comfortable always. Vicky was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were happy. Every recommendation that Vicky gave us was excellent from food, places to visit in Sri Lanka and helping us organise activities including our safari at Yala National Park. Vicky’s English was great and made communication very easy. Overall, we throughly enjoyed having Vicky as our driver. We would highly recommend him.

We spent with Raj our stay in Sri Lanka. During our stay it was very difficult because of covid-19 restriction. Fortunately I met up with Raj at the beginning. He helped us to organize our 13 days trip on Sri Lanka. We spent together so beautiful 13 days traveling with him and his very comfortable car :). He showed us amazing Sri Lankas places (Dambulla, Kaudulla national park, Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Arugam Bay, Ella....) We met up also a many cool friends of Raj. All of them were very nice and friendly. We were snorkeling, surfing, grilling on the beach together :) I am definatelly sure that without Raj we didnt enjoy so much and didnt see so many places!
Raj is the best guy who you can meet up on Sri Lanka very nice, helpful, funny :))

We had a great holiday as a family of 5. Warmly welcomed and looked after by Raj we had a wonderful trip. He was full of suggestions that kept the whole family busy. We can’t wait to come back and see more of Sri Lanka ! Highly recommended!
