We went to the Farglory Ocean Park without knowing what to expect, since we didn't find information in English on the website. We had a great time with our kids. The park is a mixture of rides (only 2 are for taller kids and adults, the rest is accessible to everyone) and marine shows (sea lions, dolphins etc). The shows... More

Great Park for kids. We enjoy watching the dolphin and sea lion shows. My daughter loves the place and enjoy the museum and aquarium.

This was part of our itinerary on day 3 in Hualien. The weather was kind as it was forecasted to rain, but it was cloudy, windy. Had a good view of the Pacific Coast line. We (5 pax) visited the park with another family (4 pax). We started with the Viking to whet our appetite and "awaken" us up. Did... More

The park has gorgeous views as it overlooks the Pacific, and it is all built on a mountainside. There are convenient escalators or golf carts to shuttle you up the hill to the various areas. The dolphin show was ok, but not as spectacular as the one at Sea World. There is a good acrobatic show at the very top... More

This is a great amusement park for kids. It's not very interesting for older people. They have great shows.

We took a public bus to and from the Hualien Train Station, took about 40 min each way. Paid TWD 1000 for an adult fare on a weekend. Though we went on a Sat, it was not crowded. No need to queue for the rides. There were 2 rides classified as challenging but possibly from the perspective of kids. All... More

This ocean theme park combines both fun and educational elements to impact environmental knowledge to their audience. It's a great park to bring your kids to. There are lots of shows to watch, pictures to take and a few coaster to entertain the adults. The most entertaining of the show are their sea lion show, dolphin show and an acrobatic... More

So yeah maybe just take the kids to this one. Teenagers might not even like this one? Not really sure, depends on whether they have a good sense of humor when they ride children's rides. I highly recommend going on a weekday and past 2:30pm because they offer this discounted 50% off price. I went at this time and the... More

It was a surprise to visit this ocean park. The fee is about $30 (~900NT dollar). Besides those rides, you'd have the chance to watch 4 (or 5) different shows, which are totally worth it.
