Temple visit

DAY 2,去台湾一定去妈祖庙拜拜,庙祝还叫我要拜拜这庙里的大妈,二妈 和三妈。 很赞。有拜有保佑。台湾神像雕刻的手工很好。 Good to visit, look at the deities figures are being crafted so refine, it is looking like so real.

We were on ship tour. We caught the ferry across. The main street is full of market stalls. Most of them sell the same gear. It is a bit grubby. On the beach at the end there was sand sculptures. Not terribly impressed with what we saw. Maybe you need to wander further afield.

We've seen a ton of temples. This is a smaller on that greets you as you exit the ferry to Cijin. Allocate no more than 5 minutes to see it. The dragons perched at the edge of the roof are outstanding and very colorful providing for some good photos.

I have visited this temple many times. Sad to see this year the damage of tyfoons. It is a very old and beautiful temple in the middle of a very touristic area.

Although there's nothing particularly unique or interesting here, this is still a lovely temple and well worth visiting if you are on Chijin. The one completely unique artefact on display is in a side room, featuring a large model boat, that I've not seen in any other Taiwanese Temple. Definitely worth a look.

A nice temple with interesting craftsmanship very close to the ferry. It is worth to explore as part of a stroll on Chinchin island.

Good place for short visit as the temple is really nicely constructed. The lantern outside the front door of the temple is a attraction. You must come to experience a bit of Chinese culture.

Not one of your best temples in Taiwan but it always has something new happening in front of it... Furthermore it is on Chijin Island where you can find many great drinks, snacks and wonderful black sand beach.

This is one of the oldest temples built for the Goddess of Fishermen. It is always crowded during festivals especially the Chinese New Year. The streets nearby are packed with food hawkers selling squid balls and local food stuff. It is worth a visit as a part of the tour of the Chichin Island.
