New and clean

New station, spacious and clean. Reception staff is patient and helpful. There are many eateries and a shopping mall around the train station.

Very nice train station, very new, you just have to walk through the old one, go left and follow the people to a new station with nice toilets, hot/cold water dispenser, self serve and regular ticket counter. Also, outside and on one end of the old station is a very helpful tourist info with a great city map, questions, just... More

To take a fast comfortable train, to International airport, is the best you can do. Less tan 40 minutes, instead of 90 minutes by road, if you are lucky with tragic. They have several places for a meal, with good quality. They have a guest relations and they speak good English. Allé station including platforms, are extremely clean.

I booked the "Tze-Chiang" train from Chiayi to Taichung before I left for my holiday. Collected my tickets at Chiayi but missed the train as I misjudged the time. Thankfully they helped me to change my tickets to the next trip which is an hour later. Taichung train station is big and has two main exits. One leads to a... More

Big station and some convenience shops. Remember to buy and eat the bentos - a must try for first timers. :)

Travelled here by Railway train. Our hotel is really near here (City Inn), there are a number of taxis waiting just right outside the station, thus if you need to get to the central area, it might be easier to come here to hail taxis as it's a straight path there. The bus station seems to be here nearby as... More

We arrive in Taichung by bus from Taipei, our hotel is just walking distance from the bus station, Chance hotel, clean and convenient if you are getting public transport. The bus station is located at the old terminal but you can walk across to the new train terminal and there are lots of shopping and street food and hotel too.... More

The Taichung Station is under construction and transforming to a new and modern station with HSR train. But they still keep the old station so visitors can enjoy exploring the architecture of it

Taichung Station is an old structure that transcends time, It is located at the main road. All buses last stop is the Taichung Train Station, also where the Gancheng Bus Stop is located
