    Great family experience
We had such a wonderful experience. From 10 yrs old to grandma, we saw all sorts of animals thanks to our great driver @malley_peter. He made sure my 50th birthday was one to remember with a special dance and song with the Maasai and then later the lodge staff served me cake, while zebras walked around the grounds.

    Awsome safari and awsome guide
We where really excited to start our safari because we had to wait a while because of covid. But wow, was it worth the wait! Guide/driver We can absolutely recommand our guide Edward Frank Joseph. He made us feel at home from day 1 and went out of his way to help us in anyway possible. We got some great shots because he managed to spot a lot of animals really quick. If there where a few cars already he always got a good position, by either his driving skills or predicting the behaviour of the animal. He also has a really good knowledge about the flora and fauna something that was important for us. Accomodations We stayed just outside the parks but animals where roaming around anyway :) Tents where in good condition, always clean. And place was always nice with a lush green enviroment. The staff made sure every little detail was on point. Especially Mathias from the lake Manyara camp! Communication Before the safari we had contact with Anouk. She answered all our question really fast. On safari Edward or the local staf ensured everything went like we wanted. We had a six day safari: including. Tarangire, Lake manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. @eddy/edward and @sjemeji thank you for everything!

Have a stress free Safari Tour!
The best experience my family and I enjoyed! There were a couple of hiccups but the Shemeji team were able to get in touch with immediately via text and sort out the details. I was referred to them by my coworker and I would gladly recommend them to everyone. Neema and Lisa were both helpful from the office and our guide Vincent was A++! The stays planned in the package were wonderful! And staff everywhere was amazing!

    Great safari!
It was a wonderful 10 days safari! Our guide Edward was a expert on the road and with all the species of animals. He knew the great spots and to drive through all the cars to have good picture. He was really friendly and make us so comfortable. We highly recommend Shemeji Safari. The only thing that we would have change is that we think the 10 days can be done in 8 or 9 days. So we suggest to talk with Shemeji before booking :)

    Unforgettable and great experience
We booked a five day tour and visited Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide George was driving us safely and was spotting the best places to see the animals. He told us many things about nature and wildlife. We were able to see so many animals and very close. The lodges are all incredibly beautiful and very close to nature. Staff of the lodges was always very friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent in every lodge. Lisa makes a very good oranisation and was always in touch with us. We would recommend Shemeji Safari highly. Thank you so much for this great and unforgettable experience

Our safari experience was truly exceptional! The coordination was superb, and the staff proved to be exceedingly friendly. Despite the majority of our lodges being situated just outside the park, their proximity was still impressive. The lodge facilities were of high quality, and the service from the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating.

While our vehicle may have been a bit aged, it maintained its safety standards, with our guide conducting daily checkups to ensure everything was in order. The absolute highlight of our safari adventure was undeniably our guide, Peter Malley. He elevated our journey into an unforgettable experience. Peter, possessing extensive experience and being a secure driver, expertly navigated our route. His profound knowledge about animals, national parks, and Tanzania itself provided us with remarkable insights.

Peter played a crucial role in facilitating our sightings of the Big Five, adorable baby lions, and much more. He consistently secured optimal spots for capturing photographs and relishing the beauty of nature. Peter's willingness to adjust plans and take extra routes to spot additional wildlife significantly enriched our safari experience. We appreciate the opportunity to learn extensively about the animals, nature, and the country, all thanks to Peter's guidance.

We had the pleasure of embarking on a safari adventure in Tanzania with the exceptional tour company, Shemeji. From the moment we landed in Arusha to the final farewell, every aspect of this journey exceeded our expectations.

Booking Process: The booking process with Shemeji was seamless and hassle-free. Their team was incredibly responsive and provided all the necessary information about the itinerary, accommodations, and logistics. They also offered helpful tips on what to pack and what to expect during the trip.

Accommodations: The lodges and camps selected by Shemeji were nothing short of spectacular. From the comfortable tents to the stunning view at the lodges, every accommodation offered a unique and authentic experience. The staff at each location were warm, welcoming, and attentive to our needs.

Tarangire National Park: Our journey began in Tarangire, a hidden gem in Tanzania. The park's diverse landscape, ranging from baobab-dotted savannas to dense woodlands, was teeming with wildlife. Thanks to our knowledgeable guide, we were fortunate enough to witness an array of species, including wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and even our first elephants.

Ngorongoro Crater: The Ngorongoro Crater is a true natural wonder. Descending into the crater felt like stepping into an entirely different world. The abundance of wildlife within this caldera, including warthogs, buffalo and lions, was astonishing. Our guide's expertise and passion for conservation added a valuable educational aspect to the experience.

Serengeti: The Serengeti needs no introduction, and Shemeji ensured we witnessed the Great Migration in all its glory. The sight of countless wildebeest and zebras stretching across the horizon is a memory that will stay with me forever. The camp in the heart of the Serengeti provided an authentic safari experience, complete with nightly campfires and the sounds of the African bush.

Lake Natron: Lake Natron offered a unique contrast to the other parks on our journey. Its seemingly endless saltflats and surreal landscapes provided a fascinating glimpse into the geological wonders of Tanzania. The flamingos that call this lake home added a vibrant splash of color to the already surreal scenery.

Lake Manyara: Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, did not disappoint. Even though we didn’t see the mentioned lions themselves, the park's lush vegetation and the scenic beauty of the lake provided a picturesque backdrop for our wildlife encounters.

Guides and Staff: Our guide, Christopher, was a true gem. His knowledge of the wildlife, ecosystems, and local culture was invaluable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience, from finding elusive animals to sharing captivating stories on the road.

In conclusion, my safari adventure with Shemeji was an unforgettable journey through some of Tanzania's most breathtaking national parks. The attention to detail, knowledgeable guides, and exceptional accommodations made this trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I highly recommend Shemeji to anyone seeking a truly immersive and enriching safari adventure.

We had an incredible Safari experience!
The organization of our trip upfront was good. We received information and feedback to all our questions very quickly.
Most of our Lodges were outside of the park but very close. We often had animals around our tend at night. Amazing! The facilities in the lodges were very good. More that we have expected (fully equiped and very clean bathrooms in the tends, whater out of the tab and a varity of fresh cooked food in the middle of nowhere). The service in the lodges was so friendly and helpful!
Our Car was a bit old but safe. Our guide did daily checkups to make sure that everything is fine. In general, the best on our Safari was our guide Peter Malley. He made our trip to an unforgettable experience. First of all he was a very experienced and safe driver (very important!). With his knowledge aboaut the animals, the national parks and Tansania itselfe we got incredible insights. He made it happen that we could see the Big Five, Baby lions and a lot more. He made sure we have a good spot to take pictures and enjoy the nature. Changing the plan and doing an extra loop to spot some more animals was always possible since Peter wanted us to get the best out of our trip. So thank you that we could learn so much about the animals, nature and the country.

Our safari with driver-guide Khalid Talib was a marvellous experience. He has a lot of knowledge, not only of all animals, but also of the culture and history of Tanzania. He never gets lost and knows a solution for everything. We had a great trip and miss Tanzania and Khalid already!
