I did not expect Safari Crew to be so well prepared and attentive to every single detail of our trip. We had the amazing opportunity to visit Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Eyasi in 5 days.
We combined the safari with the exploration of different local tribes getting the opportunity to taste a bit of history of this amazing country.

Rocco, the owner of the company, is simple the best; he was always there whatever we needed, ready to last minute changing programs, trying make our trip unforgettable. Our guide, Naftal, was extremely friendly and his spotting animals skills were simple amazing. We wouldn't have seen a cat without him.

Safari Crew is a locally based company and they really know how to make things working. We couldn't ask for a better solution!

We recently returned from a safari in Tanzania booked with Safari Crew. A customized 7-day itinerary (29/7 - 4/8/2023) for our group of 6, with exclusive jeep and guide and accommodations in lodges and tented camps.

From the very first contacts, Rocco, the owner of Safari Crew, proved to be very efficient in the organization and attentive to our preferences; prompt and precise in answering our questions, he was our point of reference from the beginning to the end of the trip, which went on in the best possible way, with no unforeseen events, everything as agreed, allowing us to fully enjoy this adventure!

A special mention also goes to our guide Emmanuel, professional and friendly, who accompanied us throughout the safari, making every effort to let us see as many animals and species as possible.

Our Safari with safari crew Tanzania was wonderful. Beyond the fact that a safari is a unique experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, choosing Rocco and his crew was a more than right decision for our needs and vicissitudes. I'll start by saying that it was our honeymoon and for this reason we were looking for an operator who would make our stay perfect: looking on the internet we found Safari crew and, driven by the excellent reviews, we decided to rely on them. We couldn't wait to leave and experience this adventure that we had dreamed of so many times but unfortunately 2020 dealt a hard blow to everyone and as far as we were concerned it didn't allow us to get married or leave for Tanzania in August.
Rocco immediately reassured us by telling us that the deposit we had paid at the beginning of the year would be frozen for the following year. In 2021, again due to Covid, we were once again unable to leave even though everything was organized and we were very ready for the trip. Needless to say, what a disappointment it was to have to postpone it again... We were starting to think that we would never be able to go!
We really skipped 2022, we thought we had already lost the deposit and we put our souls at rest.
In 2023 we finally got married and at the beginning of the year we tried to contact Rocco again to see if he would allow us to reorganize our Safari for August with the deposit we had already paid in 2020. He responded immediately, sending us the possible itineraries suitable for that period and telling us that the deposit was still valid. So, just over a month ago we left and realized our dream. I will not dwell further in singing the praises of this operator regarding lodge, guides and organization because you can easily read them among the other hundreds of reviews, however I wanted to report my experience a little out of the ordinary because the professionalism and correctness of an operator of travel can also and above all be seen from these inconveniences and misunderstandings which unfortunately can happen to anyone. So thank you again Safari crew Tanzania for accompanying us among lions, giraffes and elephants in the boundless Serengeti and in the beautiful and unique Ngorongoro caldera where you can fill your eyes with wonderful landscapes and animals, and your heart with warmth from the kind and hospitable Tanzanians.
We hope to return soon!
Silvia and Bartolo.

Great experience!
Departure from Arusha, passing through Lake Maniara, Ngorongoro, Central Serengeti (Seronera) to arrive at the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras in the North Serengeti, on the banks of the Mara River, on the border with Kenya.
Perfect organization - Rocco and his team were always helpful and precise.
Our Guide was impeccable, the great Kaim, who in addition to speaking Italian, is an excellent connoisseur of the territory and animals, specialist in the sighting of predators. Very nice and helpful. Thanks to him we were able to see, even in a very close way, predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs.
The lodges and tented camps are all very comfortable, clean and strategically located: most are inside the parks, allowing you to leave in the morning at dawn and return at sunset, taking in solitary beautiful views. Recommendation to try at least once, in the camps where possible, the night safari.

Having already done a safari in Tanzania (Serengeti and the great migration) with Rocco and his agency, given that the website also referred to safaris in Namibia and Botswana, and that the Ondjamba safari had an itinerary similar to the one studied by us, I contacted Rocco again to organize everything. We modified the tour according to our needs: for example, inserting the Himba and removing Epupa falls and inserting Okonjima Nature reserve with its leopards. We then changed some hotels and requested an Italian-speaking guide (some of us, there were 6 of us, did not speak English fluently). Contact, changes, organization, everything was absolutely perfect. A special thanks to our guide, Giuseppe Calabrese, really super and to Alessandro, reference in Namibia. Rocco and his agency will also be our reference for Botswana: thank you!!!

We had our first experience outside Europe with our 6 and 8 year olds and I have to say it was a very nice and excellent experience.
But I start from the things that I did not like, which were the lack of binoculars on the vehicle (despite being told that on every jeep there was one), the fact that due to overbooking I had to accept a different tented camp from the one booked for the two nights at the Serengeti, and the alternative was the Accommodation that I least preferred during the safari (this of course is not the fault of the tour operator).
Finally I did not appreciate that I was booked a plane to Zanzibar from Arusha (calling it airport is madness) at 17:30 knowing that after 17:30 from there you can not leave because they do not have lighting (in fact thanks to a delay of the plane "it got late" and we had to go to the other Kilimanjaro airport by bus and leave from there, after 4 hours, arriving in Zanzibar at the hotel at midnight).
Although this was really unnerving for me, the Rating is still very positive because all the structures chosen were of an excellent standard, there were no hitches during the 5 days spent with Abdul and we spent some very pleasant days, seeing many animals and landscapes different from each other, crossing Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.
Abdul is a very kind Guide and who makes himself available to guests, as well as being truly a deep connoisseur of his land and his countrymen.
Rocco, who has lived and worked there for years, is a great host and, in addition to organizing a nice Safari, hosted us on arrival and return to his Italian restaurant where we ate very well.

Just returned from an unforgettable trip to Zanzibar + Safari. The organization was excellent, the hotel in Zanzibar recommended by Rocco was above our expectations, but what made our trip truly unforgettable were the 8 days and 7 nights during which we visited Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro, the Serengeti, Tarangire Park. The facilities chosen for the nights were very good, especially sleeping in the tented camps was a truly extraordinary experience. I also believe that our guide, Naftal, really made the difference, competent and friendly, thanks to him and his superhero eyesight we managed to spot the Big5 and see the passage of the wildebeest twice, the best! Even the division into groups (there were 6 of us) was really apt, Rocco in fact managed to create a similar group of strangers which made the trip even more pleasant.

We did an 8 day Safari with Safari Crew in the Northern parks: Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Tarangire. From the first contact via email and then by telephone, Rocco proved to be available and prepared and provided us with all the answers to our questions in detail. Professional and precise.

The trip was therefore perfect in organization. Our Italian speaking guide (Naftal) was always attentive to the customer, very nice and proved to be well beyond our expectations. The guide always took us to the right place at the right time. It allowed us to see all the big five in the various parks making the trip unforgettable.

Furthermore, we managed to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara twice, and to be able to do so you need to have experience and an eye for predicting the movements and behaviors of the animals.

Thank you for this wonderful holiday, we already miss everything!

We are finally in Tanzania! In August 2023 the dream of coming here came true.
We waited 3 years but we finally made it. It's a shame that in 2020 we had booked and paid 30% of the safari with the Safari Crew Tanzania agency... it's a shame that Covid blocked everything... and it's a shame that despite the global situation, the agency insisted on having confirmation of the August 2020 trip , the only concession was that of a voucher valid until April 2021.
Conclusion they pocketed our money without doing anything. They took advantage of the situation. Be wary of agencies like this!!! No seriousness. Obviously we turned to others

An unforgettable Safari week!
Abdul accompanied us with his professionalism and friendliness on a journey between Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro conservation area and the Serengeti National Park where we had the opportunity to observe all the flora and fauna characteristic of these magical places !
We managed to see all the animals possible and imaginable, often even at very close distances and this thanks to our guide who taught us the art of patience and not being in a hurry because in the end nature always pays off.
Everything was perfect!
