Glory, Dan and EasyTravel, went above and beyond from the informative communication at the beginning and aiding to plan a trip that fit both our budget and time interest during out 5 day Safari.
Apart from that all staff was great at the camp grounds making the experience completely unique through dances and attentive care. The The Tortilis Camps are mid-luxury (****) and contain all the necessities for the cosmopolitan traveler, with exceptional views and locations. They all adapt to the parks environment, which makes the stay more memorable. If you however chose other lodging, I suggest ensuring a stay at the Manyara Lake Tortilis to enjoy an unforgettable sunrise reflecting the Lake, this definitely is up to date one of the most amazing sunrise we have enjoyed.
Regarding the safari itself starting with Manyara we arrived to this scenic ground filled with the beautiful diversity of birds, monkey, big 5 game, etc. After driving through the crater and watching the giraffes enjoy their meals, Dan set up a picnic just outside of the Serengeti on company of Zebras and Impalas. We then arrived to the Serengeti where our guide, Dan, made his personal goal to find the missing big 3. On our way to Ngorongoro we were even able to witness a hunt!
All in all I recommend EasyTravel to anyone with a short time to experience it, and I can vow that they will make your trip unforgettable and make you wish to have more time regardless how long you book it.

The comprehensive staff of Easy Travel is sincerely dedicated to the design and implementation of the total safari experience. Reflecting the personal wishes of their clients, ‘project managers’ endeavor to create a tailor-made itinerary focusing on safari locations, accommodation categories, cultural opportunities, and cost. Helen did an outstanding job of fine tuning our itinerary and lodgings according to our group of four’s requests, in a most cheerful and expeditious manner. Evarest, our uniquely talented guide and driver, provided the ‘safari of a lifetime’. His keen eyes, driving competency in muddy roads (and his willingness to extract 2 other vehicles from the mud as rainy season was delayed this year), and his sense of humor enabled us to appreciate the animal, bird, and plant kingdoms with a personal touch. This was my 4th safari; Easy Travel is light years above the others.

We elected to book direct with a local company because I had done a similar trip previously, plus there is a huge amount of online feedback available these days. It also means all the money goes into the local economy.
The Easy Travel team provided the best response to our enquiry for a private tour, accommodating our wishes with their local knowledge and experience. Their communication and responsiveness throughout the booking and follow up process was excellent.
The itinerary worked out very nicely, and gave us oppurtunity to maximise our time on game drives. The hotels were all terrific - friendly and helpful staff, good food and comfortable rooms, all in wonderful settings.
We had a superb guide, who seemed to quickly understand our preferences and quirks. His driving was great and we felt very safe in his hands - even with a male elephant approaching the vehicle! He was very knowledgeable and had great experience which helped us to get to see so much. He never failed to check what we wanted to do and when we were ready to move on. The vehicle was clean, comfortable and allowed us to enjoy great viewing.
We were able to view all the species that we wanted to see, and most of them up close.
We would highly recommend Easy Travel based on our experience. And having done a number of safaris I would say that the private option is best value.

As a four members family, we were looking for a first safari adventure and have contacted different local tours operators for the organisation including Easy Travel & Tours. Amina has been our point of contact and has delivered always valuable advise for the organisation of our trip and as accommodated all our requests. This professionalism, Amina's reactiveness to our demand and a parallel strong recommendation from a colleague having previously performed a safari with Easy Travel has conducted us to select them among the different suppliers and I can clearly say that the final tour went well beyond our expectations. The trip has been perfectly managed by Amina and locally handled by our assigned guide Dotto who was also French speaker which helped for the interaction with our children. Dotto has managed to provide us a smooth experience, managing all administrative aspect of the trip and adapting to each of our needs. Dotto took the time to assess our objectives for the trip (in our case, we were looking for an extended safari experience while limiting our time in the hotel) in order to provide us the best service in line with our needs. In addition Dotto managed to always make us feel in full security while ensuring that we do not miss any rare event or situation (we could see live a Cheetahs' hunt and a full Lion family dinner) and always position the car in the best way to take the best photographies. Our trip has consisted in the following reserves: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngonrongoro. Each of them with its specificities and all of them wonderful. In terms of hotel, we particularly enjoyed Kilimamoja, Ole Serai and Melia Serengeti that we would fully recommend.
As an example of the professionalism of Easy Travel, after the end of our safari and their services, we departed for a two days visit to Zanzibar and upon arrival we have noticed that our youngest daughter had forgotten her camera in Dotto's car. We immediately contacted Amina and Dotto and on the same day, they managed to get our camera delivered to our hotel in Zanzibar!
From our side, we can only thanks Easy Travel team, in particular Amina and Dotto for the superb safari experience that they have provided us!

Where to begin. Lets start with the day my sister and I contacted Easy Travel and the extremely prompt response from Norah. We explained our dream private safari trip of Tanzania to her and she put together the PERFECT itinerary for us. When we had booked our trip it was January of 2020 and we picked the month of October to travel which gave us lots of time to think of other things we wanted to include and other things we wanted to dismiss. Norah did an excellent job of answering all our many questions and had a few great suggestions we hadn't thought of. As you can imagine traveling during this pandemic was a sincere concern for us but Easy Travel has many safety precautions in place and at no time did we feel unsafe or unprotected. Our driver guide Hamdani was outstanding. From the moment he picked us up at JRO international until the moment we said our farewells 9 days later. His passion for the land and its animals was indeed obvious. One of the outstanding features of booking with Easy Travel is the contact you have with your travel expert. Norah checked in with our driver guide frequently to be sure our experience was everything we were hoping for and even when we finished safari and continued on to Zanzibar she was in touch with our pick up personal and spoke to us directly via phone and WhatsApp to be sure we arrived safely and everything was meeting our expectations. That really meant a lot to us because it was just my sister and I and having that check in gave us comfort. If you are considering a trip to beautiful Tanzania then look no further than the outstanding service and personal concern for your dream trip of a lifetime. We had the most incredible experience 9 day safari tour with Abi (Abisai) which included Tangire to central Serengeti all the way north to Mara Mara. We could not be happier with our choice to go with Easy Travel! Not only were they extremely quick and clear with their communication, they were also extremely accommodating of us - were able to arrange even a last minute detour to Oldupai Gorge. You will find that everything is arranged with Easy Travel and you have zero need to worry about anything! In particular, our guide Abi was the best guide we could ask for. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna we saw. His vision is like a hawk! He was able to spot wildlife from miles away and what no other guides were able to see. With Abi, we not only saw the great migration (both dry and wet river crossings plus a croc who took a baby wildebeest), a cheetah hunt and kill (with bonus hyenas that stole the kill from the cheetah, and vulture and lions who showed up to join the party), a leopard hunt and kill (and drag the kill up the tree), and so much more. He was always ON: constantly on the look out for sightings and was consistently punctual and courteous. He was very flexible in terms of start/end times, always tried his hardest to make sure we had interesting sightings and was also very personable and patiently answered all our questions about not only the wildlife in the parks but also about Tanzanian culture in general. He is an extremely safe driver and there was not a single incident where we felt unsafe despite spending 9 days straight in a car with him. All lodgings were extremely comfortable and welcoming with good food. We could not recommend a better guide than Abi and will certainly be directing our friends and family to Easy Travel and Abi for future safari needs!

We booked our Tanzania safari with Easy Travel for 6 nights for December, 2019: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti. We were a group of 10 and most days we had 2 groups of 5 with Richard and Anin. Our family was with Anin and he surpassed our expectations as our steadfast safari guide. A safari guide is required to wear many hats in order to anticipate the needs and dreams of their customers. Driver, navigator, animal hunter, naturalist, cultural liaison, interpreter, scheduler, lunch server, conversationalist, historian. Always polite and calm and willing to engage in cultural conversations, politics and reflect on complex topics. Not only did he change a tire in the middle of the bush, twice, he even helped a stuck driver out of the mud which we thought was rather heroic and generous. While we wanted to see the Big Five, he made no promises. He stealthily made our dreams come true, often heading off in a rush and spotting animals for us with binoculars. He interacted with our children and taught them about the animals; their habits and their environments. On our last game drive he took the three children for their very own grand adventure while the adults were behind in the other vehicle. Lucky for them to spy not only one leopard but two as they got ahead of us. We will never forget the memories we made on our safari. Thank you Anin, we really appreciate your strong leadership.

After spending one week in Zanzibar, Easy Travel arranged a one week safari tour including Ngorongoro, Ndutu and Serengeti. We had a great time and we were very happy with all the camps Easy Travel had recommended. Our guide Mr Richard was very knowledgeable and very flexible to meet all our requests + a lot of fun as company. Over all Easy Travel seems to be very dedicated in delivering the best trip for their customers and at a competetive price as well. Thx Easy Travel for a great trip :)

We (german couple) had an unforgettable experience and like to think back on our 8-day safari. Starting with the perfect organization and selection of the individual route, hotels and parks by Amina from Easy Travel. From the first contact, she worked out the route according to our wishes and always reported back promptly to align with us. In Kilimanjaro we were picked up at the airport by Gabriel (tour guide) who speaks very good German and he brought us to our first accommodation in Arusha. This was followed by a week in the parks and areas of Manyara, Serengeti, Ndutu, Tarangire and Ngorongorocrater with an incredible number of animal experiences (including the big five). Gabriel impressed us with his knowledge about human life in Tanzania, the wildlife and environment with its flora and fauna and could easily find answers to all our questions. And of course we’ll never forget the ‚african massage’.!
We were welcome with great friendliness and warmth everywhere and especially in the lodges. We booked Easy Travel due to the many good reviews and don‘t regret this decision and can only recommend everyone to book through ET.
Thanks to Amina and Gabriel and we enjoyed the New Year cake and the gift!

It has been 2 weeks since we left Tanzania but We can’t stop thinking about it.
We have been to Tanzania, Kenya and south africa, But Tanzania is a must see!
After 4,5 month of reading safari’s journeys my husband and I decided to choose EASY TRAVEL as our tour operator and it was the best decision. Norah started chatting with me when I was reading reviews on trip advisor and it was the starting point of our fantastic trip.
Norah offered us her tailored plan and changed it several times as per our requests. Thank you Norah for the perfect arrangements and also thanks for the cake, it was the best treat after our long flight from Sydney. Your call to make sure if we were enjoying the trip and everything is ok was just a peace of mind.
Here are our accomodations:
Night 1 : Kibo Palace Arusha (very good)
Night 2 : Ndutu safari lodge (excellent)
Night 3 & 4 : Serengeti Tortilis Camp (excellent)
Night 5: country lodge karatu (very good)
Tortilis camp was the best.
We were lucky to see great migration which was amazing, Ngorongoro is a phenomenal, couldn’t believe my eyes, unbelievable.
Anold, our guide was the best. We asked 1000 questions everyday😅 our land cruiser was always in the best position when spotting animals. He also was so respectful to animals trying to not bother them on their natural habitat. When it was a queue to watch animals, our car was always in best angle for taking pictures and watching animals😅 he taught us a song in Swahili and checked our progress everyday :) he also accompanied us till the last minutes before our leaving Arusha to Kenya to make sure everything is ok.
Thank you Anold, you have made our trip even more enjoyable, we have already missed your small beautiful restaurant in the middle of nowhere. We won’t forget that you set up table and chairs for us to experience the bush lunch when you realised that we were interested in.

So I am planning for a safari with your tour company and my quote is $1,000 more than what is stated here for the National Serengeti Park only. Also, my tour doesn’t include the crater. I’ve heard this is worth it. I am having trouble understanding the cost. I’m booking all my hotels myself.

Hi Faryal! The touring company is not mine, i was just a tourist like yourself. So i can't explain the costs and details. But what i can say is that the crater was a very nice adition to our tour and i would reccomend including it in your trip.

I’m doing the Kilimanjaro climb and have 4 days after that before flying back home. We’d like to do a safari and stay in a lodge. What do you guys recommend for February? Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Arusha, Tarangire...? Tnx!

Easy travel does offer small group tours. It was 5 of us when we climbed the mountain. You might also get lucky booking it last minute, we have heard it may save you a bunch of $$$$.

First timer here in planning mode—-
-Is the power supplied in the vehicles for a USB outlet or for an actual plug? I will have an adapter... just want to be prepared.
-What happens if you urgently have to go to the bathroom while on safari?
-are the fruits and vegetables truly safe to eat in the lodges? Do the lodges have ice from filtered water? I don’t like to take any chances when traveling but the reviews are so awesome that I’m wondering what everyone’s opinion of this is?

349caras - my husband and I have travelled to many, many countries over many years and, yes, at times we are very careful about what we eat and drink. However, if you stay in a decent, we’ll run lodge in Tanzania you should have no problems. We had no problems eating salads, meats and fish - and what was in offer was mouthwatering. Any hotel/lodge operator would quickly lose customers if their guests got sick. A long gin and tonic with ice and lemon is a wonderful tonic at the end of the day!
