My spouse and I went for a 6-day safari and we enjoyed every moment of it. We stayed in Tortillis camps: one night in Tarangire, three in Serengeti, one in Ngorongoro. Communication with the Easy Travel representative, Voice, was prompt before and after we booked. All our questions were answered in great detail within 24 hours. All our requests, such as itinerary adjustments, were fulfilled. We had a last minute flight cancellation from Amsterdam to JRO and Voice arranged an additional night in Arusha for us.
Our safari vehicle was a big 4x4 land cruiser which can seat 7 people, so we had plenty of space for us two. It had a pop-up roof, a fridge with free water and soft drinks, two binoculars, and an outlet. We never had any issues with the car and I think it's well maintained. I had a change to see a glimpse of the main office where these car are stored and maintained. It looked very professional with a dozen of maintenance bays. I saw a couple of dozens of safari cars in their parking lot and it appears that the company has many dozens of vehicles (we were told close to one hundred) and is truly a big safari operator. While we were on safari, the car was cleaned daily.
Our driver/guide, Santiely, is an expert driver with 20+ years of experience. It was the beginning of a raining season, which means lush vegetation, but also mud. Lots of it. Many drivers are simply avoiding muddy side roads and stay on the main roads which are better maintained. But you have to go further away from main roads to see big cats. While we observed other drivers getting stuck in the smallest puddles, Santiely braved long, hundred meter long stretches of deep mud where the car was skidding non-stop. If you are coming during the rainy season, keep in mind that a good driver means not only that you see more, but also that you are not stuck in mud overnight.
Santiely also has a vast knowledge of local flora and fauna. We learnt a lot of interesting and fun facts from him. He has an incredible eyesight and can spot wildlife from far away. He made sure we saw as many animals and birds as possible, including the big five.

We just finished our private safari with Easy Travel and it surpassed all of our expectations. Despite a last-minute change due to a flight cancellation, the staff was very quick to accommodate our changes. Everything from airport pickup to accommodations (we stayed in Tortilis camps) was flawless. Our driver, Santiely (Santi), went above and beyond to ensure we have outstanding experience in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. We spent 6 days with him and it was a very enjoyable experience. He has a good sense when to engage or give space, ensuring our utmost comfort at every moment. Santiely's expertise and experience ensured we witnessed all the animals we hoped to see, skillfully navigating the Serengeti's muddy terrain. His adept driving skills ensured we didnât get stuck in mud while exploring narrow roads to find big cats. I highly recommend this safari company for an incredible exploration of this gorgeous country.

The most amazing trip ever. Simon was our tour driver. His extensive knowledge of animals and terrain is unmatched. We did a 6 day tour and saw all the Big 5. Not only did we see them, but he made the drives a once in lifetime experience. Many other drivers asked him where to go and how to get there. This demonstrated his deep knowledge of the area.
I am also thankful for Hellen who set the tour up for us. She made all the right accommodations for us especially providing Simon as the tour driver. It was my wifeâs birthday and the lodges made us feel like royalty. This is all due to Hellen for ensuring our comfort and happiness is there number one priority.

I had a wonderful experience in North Tanzania with Easy Travel. The team composed by Gilbert Mariki my guide and Samson our chef was very friendly and professionnal. I spent two weeks with them without encountering any issue. Mariki knows the country and the National parks/reserves in détails, which is clearly a plus when come the time to observe wildlife (I particularly appreciated its driver/animal expert skills in Serengeti Park, where we spent 3 full days, amongst more memorable of my life!). And he's also full of humour. Samson prepared for us delicious meals at all times, mixing local and international cuisine, always with smile. The team satisified all my requests and was very adaptative and full of proposals when little adaptations were necessary. Now I m back home with memories I will keep my whole life !

He is super easy to get along with, patient, with an abundance of knowledge to navigate the park in the most efficient way one can only dream of. The team at Easy Travel took care of every detail so that we could just take in all the treasures of Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire National Parks. As a local company they have a fantastic network of contacts for accomodations and anything else you might like to experience.
Our guide Ombeni was so professional and has so much knowledge to share. He truly understands the flora and fauna of each park and is a great ambassador. We learned so much in our 8 days with him. On a personal note, he was extremely capable when dealing with someone who is hearing impaired. It truly made for an all inclusive experience. We highly recommend Easy Travel and Ombeni in particular.
Our guide Ombeni was so professional and has so much knowledge to share. He truly understands the flora and fauna of each park and is a great ambassador. We learned so much in our 8 days with him. WOW! Easy Travel made our safari a trip of a lifetime! We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary and couldnât be happier with our experience. Our amazing guide, Dennis, was so welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and fun! Dennis has a wealth of experience as a guide, which enabled us to find/see all of the Big 5 animals + several other amazing animals (up close!). Dennis shared information regarding all the animals as we saw them (their eating & sleeping patterns, likes/dislikes, fiends/enemies, etc.). Additionally, he shared information about the national parks we were visiting, the culture, history, etc. He kept the safari jeep very clean (it was cleaned each day) and had a strong focus on safety, which we appreciated!
Not only was the safari incredible, but the Tortillis camps were wonderful! The hospitality, service, friendly & attentive staff, excellent food & accommodations were top notch! I always felt safe and relaxed. The staff pays close attention to details and ensures your stay is comfortable and memorable. This is glamping at the next level!!
Easy Travel truly made everything easy - we never had to think about transportation, food, accommodations, etc. because itâs all part of the package! We just got to arrive & soak in all Tanzania has to offer.

Having traveled all over the world with multiple tour guides, I think Everest Mboya, with easy travel has been the best. He is professional and knowledgeable but more importantly, he is personable, caring, and fun to be with. In addition, he is an excellent driver and oversees every situation with great detail. I HIGHLY recommend an East Travel safari with him as your guide.

So I am planning for a safari with your tour company and my quote is $1,000 more than what is stated here for the National Serengeti Park only. Also, my tour doesnât include the crater. Iâve heard this is worth it. I am having trouble understanding the cost. Iâm booking all my hotels myself.

Hi Faryal! The touring company is not mine, i was just a tourist like yourself. So i can't explain the costs and details. But what i can say is that the crater was a very nice adition to our tour and i would reccomend including it in your trip.

Easy travel does offer small group tours. It was 5 of us when we climbed the mountain. You might also get lucky booking it last minute, we have heard it may save you a bunch of $$$$.

First timer here in planning modeâ-
-Is the power supplied in the vehicles for a USB outlet or for an actual plug? I will have an adapter... just want to be prepared.
-What happens if you urgently have to go to the bathroom while on safari?
-are the fruits and vegetables truly safe to eat in the lodges? Do the lodges have ice from filtered water? I donât like to take any chances when traveling but the reviews are so awesome that Iâm wondering what everyoneâs opinion of this is?

349caras - my husband and I have travelled to many, many countries over many years and, yes, at times we are very careful about what we eat and drink. However, if you stay in a decent, weâll run lodge in Tanzania you should have no problems. We had no problems eating salads, meats and fish - and what was in offer was mouthwatering. Any hotel/lodge operator would quickly lose customers if their guests got sick. A long gin and tonic with ice and lemon is a wonderful tonic at the end of the day!
