Tanzania is one of the Country in Africa which it has many National Parks with other many attractions around the area including local activities where the visitors they may spend their time with local Tanzanian people who're very friendly without minding your residence or your religious or your color!!
In Tanzania there are more than 12 National Parks with different landscape, different scenario in each step where you go! The first and easy and attractive National Park is Arusha National Park which is about 50km from Arusha Town where most of people are overnight on the first time on arrival! Arusha National Park is one of the small National Park in Tanzania but with full of interesting view and stories according to resident people who they were living in before to be a protected area!
There are very interesting things to visitors it depend what is your interest as here there are many different species of Birds,Butterflies,Trees and wild animals as well! Here is where you may enjoy and spend your time watch the Black and White Colobus Monkey which is one of the beautiful monkey. But not only that but is here where you may enjoy the beautiful view for the Kilimanjaro Mountain especially in noon time while you're driving along the Momella Lakes where also you will enjoy the pinkish color from Flamingos when feeding to the Lake. If you will drive along the Mount Meru side you will have another different view with wonderful waterfall where you may seat for lunch during the mid day with beautiful weather with different sounds singing like from different species of the birds! In June Arusha National Park is the best place to visit if you're interesting with Butterfly as there any many species of Butterflies with different beautiful color!
This Park is standing with its own vegetation and landscape which you can't compare with other National Parks. Also is one of the National Park which you may visit very easier than all others as you may go even after lunch from your hotel in Arusha but also there are some hotels and camps near the park which it may takes 5 minutes to be in the Park but also you may camp in side the Park as there are very nice quite camp sites which are very clean and safe to camp!
If you will camp here in side the Park you will feel different as you're alone in the World only with Nature as you can't see anything different more than trees and African blue sky and different sounds from the Nature!!

Arusha National Park is the best place to start your Safari to experience the Nature and the Safari!!
For those who are real interesting with Nature they will enjoy it so much with real privacy feeling while you're here!!
We may say you may go yourself without guide but to be honest you can't enjoy much if you don't have the resident guide who he will takes you to all interesting points!!

For those who never been to Africa especially to Africa National Parks Tanzania is a real Africa Country with more than 100 different tribes with individuals languages in each tribe!

Please take your time and visit Tanzania as your first visit in Africa you will never stop thinking about your visiting and here you will agree about value of your money!!!!

Tanzania guides are very knowledgeable and very friendly and happy all time!!!

Who know Africa more than African guide???

Momella Lakes is a collection of multiple lakes located in the Arusha National Park fed by various underground water streams and rainfall during its season which attract complete life cycle of hippos and different types of birds such as Flamingos, herons, Egyptian gees and many more. Part of the activity in the lake includes canoe with a great view of beautiful tall blonde giraffes which are also seen near the lake areas and the forest in the background. Game drives follows in the Park which will get you closer to Buffaloes, Bush-bucks, Water-bucks plus many more others. Boxed lunch served at the nearby picnic site.

Canoeing on little Momella lake was a highlight of our trip to Tanzania. The guide was very professional and we loved canoeing on the lake with giraffes watching from the hill above.

We took a canoe out on the lake and saw many animals, like giraffes and hippos floating in the water. We also saw multiple different kinds of birds and just being on the water on a hot day was very enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area, wildlife and told some amazing and interesting stories.

These are lakes in the Arusha NP. You have a good chance spotting some flamingos and loads of other water birds here. It is also possible to go kayaking on the lake (which we haven't done).

This was a good intro to Tanzanian wildlife parks. Since we were visiting during the dry season, the greenery of the park in the shadow of Mt Meru was most welcome. Worth a visit, if you have the time.

A fantastic area within Arusha National Park. Sitting at about 4000ft, the temperatures are slightly cooler.

There are small hills around the Lake and during my visit a number of giraffes occupied the top spot for the best views.

The lakes are a haven for wild life from flamingos to hippos and a little species of duck that is affectionately called Jesus ducks by the locals because they can walk on water.

The area around the lake has excellent bird life, giraffes, warthog, waterbuck, hippos etc. Didn't see the hippos myself, however, did see just about everything else.

When in the National park your guide will take you to the lakes. A nice picnic area and unbeatable views of the Momellas.

Great views of the landscape even if the weather was cloudy and rainy at times. Lots of birds and animals but unfortunately, no elephants.
