Cook and smile with Ann

We met with Anne for a private lesson to learn the secrets of Thai cooking of the foods we love so much. We got a full and enriching experience with lovely Ann who taught us through the tour at the market how to choose the right ingredients for the dishes and she also chose special desserts for us to end the meal. From the market we continued to Anne's pleasant cooking workshop where we received detailed explanations and experimented preparing dishes we chose. We really enjoyed Anne's company and we learned a lot from the explanations. We cooked and ate happy and authentic Thai food.

Awesome Cooking Experience

This is an experience not to be missed when in Khao Lak, Phuket Thailand. A great way to visit the food markets. If you like Thai food and want to be able to bring the skills you learn home with all the tips and tricks this is the cooking class for you. Ann has a wealth of knowledge of Thai food and history and is a bubbly enthusiastic person who loves to share her skills. We absolutely loved the experience and are using the skills since we arrived home. A not to be missed experience :-) Thank you Ann for making it memorable

Awesome Cooking class

If You are interested in Thaifood and culture you really should try this course. Ann is lovely person who is an exellent guide to the secrets of Thaifood. First you go to foodmarket and think with Ann what you like to cook. She shows all ingredients and you meet a local dealer in action and get good tips. After market begins hard cooking with a expertice warm up. The best moment is when You realize you know how to cook Thai food. And it's taste good! Ann gives you good tips and recipies to bring back home. We were very happy and had swollen mouths after all the chilipaste😅. Thank You Ann for yourself and fun and useful course! You who read all this - GO to this class!

Great Experience! Must do when in Khao Lak.

Ann was recommended to us by our hotel, and we did not regret taking her class! After visiting a local food market (including sampling Thai Tea and coffee, thanks for that, Ann!), where we also had the chance to purchase fresh curry pastes to take home, we were taken to Anns lovely and clean open air kitchen, right across the street from the Tsunami Memorial.

We cooked 3 Thai dishes of our choice, Ann showed us a lot of tricks and under her supervision we could prepare everything ourselves. And eat, of course :-). It was all very delicious and well explained. We had soo many questions and Ann was very patient with us... thanks again, Ann! We appreciated her fun but strict ways of teaching.
Ann is serious about food, as are we... and we feel that we have learned to prepare truly authentic Thai cuisine („FORGET GINGER!“ 😉).

Service is also great: pick up with comfortable and safe Minivan, Anns assistant was constantly cleaning up behind us (thank you, too!). Highly recommended!

Cooking made simple

I followed Ann's cooking class in November this year. It was a great experience. I did already a few cooking classes before, but this one stands out, because of the useful tips and the superior taste. Even now, when cooking at home, I remember Ann's tips and the dishes taste great.
The class starts with a trip to the local market where Ann explains about the different ingredients used in the Thai kitchen. After we start cooking at her home. Ann is very good in explaining how to cut the vegetables, what happens during the cooking process and how to mix the different flavours. She knows a lot about Thai food. She is also a good host and makes sure everyone is involved. I had a great time.

A wonderful cooking class

Me and my husband hadagreat time on Ann's course! We ended up having aprivate class and it was great! We started at the local market and ann showed us everything and explained
about local herbs and spices, we picked up fresh ingredients according to the dishes we decided to cook and then went to the cooking school and started working.
Ann was so nice, informaive and patient... we highly recommend it. Worth every Baht.

Perfect introduction to Thai cooking!

Ann is a perfect host, really passionate about food! We first went to a local market, getting introduced to the best herbs, vegetables and curry pastes.
We had a cooking class adjusted to our pesco vegetarian needs. The food was lovely, full of flavors, and we were taught how to adjust the spiciness to everyone's needs.
Also the stop overs to taste the coconut water and to the best baked crispy banana from local shops were a great extra!
Magic food created with the best ingredients combined with simplicity!

Amazing cooking class! Highly recommended!

We had a great time with Ann. We were only 2 people so it really felt like a luxury private class. Ann is a lovely teacher and host. The trip to the market was very interesting. We got to pick what we wanted to cook and the food was delicious. Ann's kitchen is very nice and clean. Pick up and drop off to our hotel were included.

Excellent activity with a great teacher

We were a group of 5 and everyone had a wonderful time.I was worried how Ann would cope with everyones different taste , some wanting prawns and others chicken but Ann she accommodated us all.

Ann picked us up from our hotel the X10 and took us around the market showing us all the different vegetables ,some that we had never seen before in the UK .

Then on to her cookery kitchen. It was a lovely little place well designed and very clean.

The food came out amazing. It was a great thing to do on holiday and I hope to replicate the same dishes at home.

Thanks Ann we all had a great day with you :)

Wonderful host and teacher

My husband and daughter were sure of one thing they wanted to do before our trip to Thailand. And that was to do a Thai cooking class. We found a most hospitable and knowledgeable teacher in Ann. Not only was she great in giving cooking tips but she has a real passion for food, a real foodie who enjoyed other cuisines. She was also a great host and took us to some interesting places around Khao Lak. I would highly recommend Ann to anyone interested in learning Thai cooking.
