The outside bit had about 10-15 traders selling food. That's it. It was suggested by a few people we go for a... More

People are talking about two different markets here. The train market is half way between Bangkok and Cha Am and is held every day with the train coming through the middle of the market 5 or 6 times during the day. All the stall holders wheel back their stalls and remove stall canopies so the train can come through. Some... More

The selection of food is fantastic - all cooked in front of you - squid, cuttlefish, poultry, fried mussels, corn, Curtis etc. And I could go on. The cakes are unbelievable and everything us so... Second visit to the market, it's chock-full of us tourists but also Thai people use it. Very cultural and the same as every market in Thailand that I've visited. But that doesn't take away it's charm. The bars are crammed full of what seemed to be German's, trying to get near a toilet is a waste of time. The food... More
