Offers an excellent experience at affordable prices but tends to be overcrow
Hatyai Floating Market is an excellent spot for photography enthusiast, especially the traditional architecture and picturesque scenery. The market's affordable prices make it appealing to budget-conscious visitors. While the main highlight is the unique floating stalls, the experience is still well worth the visit, even with the similarities to the street market.

    Interesting market to visit
This is a small floating market compared to the one in Bangkok and mostly all the sampans sell food. There are other stalls located next to the market as well. Plenty of local things to see and do try some of the local delicacies. There are more stalls across the bridge selling local stuff including bugs and worms!!

Although it was raining the day we went, the covered food stalls, clothing and souvenir stores were in business. As for the boats docked along the river, they were covered with tarp. Vendors continued to sell their wares in the rain. It's quite mind boggling to navigate through the market but once you get the hang of it, its easy. Everything is in on a grid. Delicious food, friendly locals, great bargains.

This is another thaï floating market for tourists.
Of course, this is a nice place where you can buy many things and eat many different kind of dishes. But this is just a slideshow for tourists. Nothing to do with authentic.
More than this, if you want to park close to the market, you will probably have to pay for a parking.
Business, business... This is Thaïland i don't like

Thus is not a real working floating market like the one nearer to Bangkok.
It is a food market made to looklike flooting market for tourist to eat n relax. Despite this, it still nice to visit. The store owner take the effort to dressup in traditional thai costume. Lots of variety of Thai food. Many seatings available. Price is affordable dispite a tourist area. Many more stores selling food n other souvenir and cloths beside. Parking is 20bat inside a temple carpark.

A very nice evening with diverse food, colorful displays and shops. I highly recommend.
Food offered was diverse, fast and very good.
As you walk along the promenade gathering a little from here and a little from there ... an evening of fun is found.
Prices are very reasonable, food choice is very good. Tables are provided to sit once you have ordered.
Highly recommend.

Unlike other floating market where u have to board the boats to purchase food, here the boats are stationary..plenty of food below 50thb. Drinks in fanciful "containers". Apart from eating, u can also shop.. There r plenty of seats as well. Very good..

Sawadeeka!!

Me & my family came here on the 3rd of February. Arrived at about 5pm, the place is already crowded. Its a nice view and a unique experience to be here. We came here by van so I do not know how much is the price to reach here by public transport. Here are a few things I'd like to share:-

Food
- price starts from TB20 and the highest is TB50
- variety of food such as tom yam, porridge, chicken balls, sushi, desserts, sausages, steamed squids, drinks and a few others, so come with an empty tummy so you can sample and try all the food!
- the price are clearly written at a small signboard in front @ at the back of the sampan, together with the name of the food
- the food are HALAL so Muslim travellers, bona petite!

Cleanliness
- All the seller are very clean & tidy, the sampan are also clean :)
- the sellers are also polite, most of them can speak English so ask if you are not sure about the ingredients of the food @ drinks @ dessert.

Place to sit & eat
- there are a few tables & chairs set up along the river for visitors to sit & enjoy the food but it is often full.. So if you manage to get a table, switch turns with your friends and family to buy different food so that you can properly eat and taste all the food.

Garbage Bags
- Since all of the sellers are using plastic containers to serve the food, so there are possibilities of visitors throwing it all around.. Thus, there are a lot of garbage bags around the area so please don't be a liter bug :)

Souvenirs
- Visitors can buy souvenirs like fridge magnets & tshirts at the stalls that you will find before you cross the bridge to the Floating Market. Prices are quite reasonable but do try to bargain :)

Hope my tips helps!

To reach this place, the best way is to take a Tuk Tuk which cost about 250 to 300 bath for 2 person and remember it is a two way ticket, so you don't have to pay twice. Opening time is weekend only and from 5.30 to 9.30 local time, so do not get there too late or you may be shopping in the dark. Upon reaching there, you will be drop at the entrance of the floating market, and your driver will wait for you there, do not pay them until you are taken back where you are being pick up.

As you walk through the road, you start to see stalls being set up along the road to the floating market, selling food, clothing, accessories and shoes. A short walk is all you need to reach the river part of the floating market and over there they sell wide range of local food - from Mee soup, fried bird egg, drinks, ice cream, fried meat, fried potato and some other local snack such as fried worms, priced from 20 to 40 bath per serving.

Personally recommend to start your journey by 5PM, so when you arrive it is still in day time so you can have a good look at the local floating market scenery, which you shouldn't miss out. And local call this place, Khlong hae floating market, so tell this to your tuk tuk driver and they will know where you want to go.

I wanted to visit a floating market, so when i heard that I have a chance to go I do not hesitated. But I was dissapointed. There is no floating market anymore. Boats are empty and vendors have a regular stalls. Do not go there. It is just another food market. Nothing special and it is really touristy and overpriced.

Trying to emulate what is available in Bangkok. At least better than nothing.

This has open up a new tourist spot. The only short coming is it is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and in the evenings, say from 4pm.

The good thing is it is not as hot when open during the day. That could be a turn off.

Nice to alk around to get some cool drinks and getting some souvenirs
