150 Baht in Taxi ( Turk Turk) From Veranda beach If your looking for some off the beaten path for some art and Not the plentiful crap you find at every market this is the place. We enjoyed the music, art and lots of variety of food. Must partake .

Nice place to browse - food offerings were very second rate. The place is really nice and stalls were more upmarket than the general"market" stalls. However this is not a place to grab a bargain.

As the market is in a large park it has space to walk around and eat. A band is playing local (jazz/classical) music, you can buy local handicraft and clothes. No wow things but still a good place to spend an evening.

This market is not on every night of the week, definitely on a Friday night and is very clean and tidy for a Thailand market. Lots of arts and crafts, as well as a great selection of local food on the stalls. You get vouchers at the gate to spend at the food stalls and there are lots of different... More

We dropped by the Cicada market, as it seemed to be a cool place to chill for a while. And it was! There are a lot of sweet little stalls and some opportunities to buy from some very talented artists. A special mention to Rujaya, who makes truly beautiful earrings. We didn't try the food but there were delicious smells... More

Quite an interesting market with artists showing their work, and providing immediate paintings, t-shirt airbrush etc. Many stalls with handmade products, and definitely worth looking at. Stalls differentiate their products very well, so there's hardly or even no repeats. Everything is unique. Food is interesting and good too! A wide variety. Worth a visit!

We visited the Cicada Market twice while we were staying in Hua Hin. All different types of art/handmade stalls, very interesting! Brilliant for gifts!

Cicada Market is truly worth a visit. So much to see even with young children - they found it fascinating (ages 5 and 2). So many food stalls whipping up dishes to order. Delicious Thai, Korean, Chinese, Malaysian......food. Then you have the craft and art market selling the most lovely unique and individual pieces. There was also an orchestra when... More
