This golf course needs money & care taken to it.. We played in Jan 2019 @ Baht 2200 & both my friend & I rated it 2-3 out of 10.. Its a great layout so with money spent on it it would be a great...More
Terrible state of repair. Solid bunkers with weeds. Soggy fairways.
Compared to the other courses we played in Hua Hin this was the worst.....
The changing rooms - women’s were murky and with lots of mosquitoes.
We didn’t see many dogs and just one monkey so I have hard time to justify the complaints.
The course was in good condition greens a little slow but fine.
Helped to have a caddy that knows the course and the greens.
We would without...More
Played the oldest and first golf course in Hu Hin. Fairways could do with some work greens ok. Lots of trees and a nightmare if u go in the rough. If u can hit shots straight it is not such a difficult course. What out...More

I've read a few reviews about the driving range, which is open to the public, not being very good and I have to say that I found it fine. Most of the mats, certainly the one I used was fine and I hit everything from...More
Nice course, first in Thailand. Just near the railway station. Fast to play also easy for high handicappers. Monkeys on 13 hole, scary. Can't compare it to new courses but we liked to play it and will do it again. Tee boxes would need upgrading,...More
The Royal Hua Hin Golf Club is not popular in reviews. ‘Old and neglected’ etc. We were happy to give it a try inspite of all these reactions. Happy we did it! ‘Old’ of course, it’s the oldest of Thailand! Neglected, no! We found a...More
Nice course but not challenging for a low handicapper as the fairways are wide and there is no water. Condition of the fairways and greens was good on most holes. Tee boxes however were not so good. They have no signs telling you which holes...More

You need to hire a set of clubs, as I do not believe they will hire you just the driver but you can ask. Or take your own driver to the range. It costs 50 THB just over a quid at todays exchange rate for a bucket of balls... More
You need to hire a set of clubs, as I do not believe they will hire you just the driver but you can ask. Or take your own driver to the range. It costs 50 THB just over a quid at todays exchange rate for a bucket of balls. The driving range is in front of you as you enter the car park but get there early as it gets busy.
