I was a little bit disappointed with the beach to be honest I arrived expecting it to be crystal clear but found it was very rough and grey. I was told the sea was tidal but never seen it go out or come back in I have a picture of my fishing set up next to the sea. I didn't... More

We enjoyed hanging out on this beach, with good shading umbrellas provided by local grandma, who also sold bananas, beer and water. Access via path beside DVaree Diva hotel (where we stayed- good, convenient and clean).

Beaches on the gulf of Thailand are not very pretty – not a patch on those further south, on the islands, or at Krabi or Khao Lak. Hua Hin is a mecca for kite surfers, and if you want to watch or learn, this is a good place to do it. The sea water in the Gulf of Thailand rarely... More

A terrific expanse of beach. From the northern end where there are some rocks and gritty sand moving on to soft sand, soft sand and more soft sand. Busy with lots of hotels and condos spilling people right out onto this huge beach. Lots of horses to hire (the minders clean up after them), kite surfing schools, ice cream, coconuts... More

We came to Hua Hin as there had been lots of good comments made about the beaches. The beach seemed very clean. Only thing was it was full of jelly fish and that put me off and letting my little boy go in the sea.

We found the beach to be lovely and clean the ocean was clean and no rubbish was washed up on the shore line. You can rent undercover beds and tables if you wish and people will bring you food and drinks to buy, we chose to walk a little further away from that area where there were less people, also... Water wasnt as clear as in samui . But very clean and safe to swim in . Its a good idea to carry a picnic basket and a mat . There are very few spots you can sit down in and eat most of the beach is empty

Nice white sands, quite popular with locals and tourists. Lots of horses however which makes the place a little dirtier than you'd like despite horse riders picking up their mess.

We can to Hua Hin to check it out. Less crowded than say Pattaya but the beach did not offer chairs or cordoned off swimming. We stayed and sunbathed at hotel. During stay (Nov) yellow warning for currents and jelly fish. I liked PhuKet and Jomtien (Pattaya) better. Still beautiful for a stroll and sunset behind clouds
