Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Without of your time. It is not difficult. There are a lot of closed stores and those open ware is the same. We had been before. Even then it wasn't much, but the local told us there was a renewal. Nothing to complain about. It is even worse than back then.

Oh really, the worst place I have ever visited in Thailand, I would have to say really dangerous just walking on the uneven planks or going on a ride in the small boat that feels like it will sink or tip over
Shopping forget it , the toilets stink and you can smell them before you get to them
Anyway lots of better place to go on your holiday in Thailand

Do not expect to see something similar to Floating Market in Bangkok, first of all because is not set up along a river but in a lagoon.
But if you have some extra time while you are in Hua Hin you can make a quick trip to this place where you will be probably the only Farang in the area. A lot of attractions and very cheap prices and.... more important lot of fun for the kids.

KIds would love this too with the baby goats, rabbits and geese. It is not really a floating market but a long, covered walkway around a lake. The market is recovering from the relaxation of the lockdown rules and many of the shops had not reopened. The shops that were open had a fair choice too. There is minature train going round the entire site but was not yet operational. The market staff went out of their way to to be friendly. Allow an hour to visit - more if you want to eat at one of the stalls.

I read on another review that this was far more upmarket than the night markets. If so, we must have been in the wrong place!
About 20 minutes from our hotel - with associated transport costs. 200 that per person to enter a VERY run-down tacky shopping market with the same stuff as the night markets with none of the atmosphere. About 70% of shops selling t-shirts!
Very depressing place.

This place must be amazing when it's up and running and in full swing. Sadly this market still hasn't recovered from the financial devastation caused by COVID. Hopefully soon there will be an infusion of support to help them out.

Unfortunately this one time HH tourist attraction has ceased operations. The name was a misnomer because visitors walked around a body of water into various stores. Hopefully it can be infused with new investors to make it thrive as the property now just sits vacant!

Unauthentic setting for the sale of tacky touristy souvenirs. Not floating either. Save your taxi fare and spend the afternoon by the pool instead.

We visited in the afternoon which was the wrong time as many of the shops were closed for siesta or lunch.
It was still worth avid it though but the best time is in the evening. The market is a good place to buy some souvenirs or presents to take home. Their are quite a few food shops as well for something to eat.
The boardwalks are wooden and uneven so be careful if you have children or elderly adults.the entry price includes a boat ride which is pleasant and quite short around the lake, great for kids.

I agree with all the other comments. It is just a series of stalls mainly selling tshirts around a small lake. There is no "floating market" at all, just a few wrecked boats sunk (really !)
