Anyone know what the picture frame that we bought of us riding the elephants is made out of?

This was an amazing experience!!!! I hate to admit that I am not an animal person because I'm scared of simple things like dogs but OMG I for some reason was not scarred of the elephants. They are so well-trained and disciplined. They are so cute and this is an experience you can NOT miss if you come to Bangkok.... More

What a fun experience! We went on a short ride then down to the water where our elephants cooled off and played squirting us with water! There was someone on the bank taking pictures with our phones and cameras so we got lots of fun shots as record of our visit! I like that they do this and don't just... More

This was a fantastic afternoon. I was a little worried to start with as I'd heard a lot about how Thai treat these animals but as soon as I got there and got on an elephant called Abdul I told the handler no bull hooks. He agreed and we went on our way. The elephant was compliant and very friendly... More

It is a very nice place. I would go back. The thing we enjoyed the most was the elephant bath. The best time to go is before 11 am to avoid the groups that arrive at that time.

This was included in our tour package of Thailand. It was the only negative part of my 12 day tour. When you first arrive there is the most adorable baby elephant ( I love elephants) that you can interact with. It would be wonderful except mom is on a very short chain a few feet away. Poor mom is pacing... More

We went with a group tour. We got to go on a bamboo raft ride down the nearby river, and then got to go on a longer-than-expected elephant ride that took us back down into the river. We even got to sit on the head of the elephant like our 'mahout'. After the ride, we all gathered for a little... More

This was absolutely the best memory I had while visiting Thailand. While this is one of the most basic elephant experiences you can get while in Thailand, it was still well worth the time. When we arrived, it was not 10 minutes before we were already on top of an elephant, riding the elephant as it meandered through the camp... More

We got there too late to ride the elephants but we got up so close to them we petted and got a lot of pictures... I'm here in Bangkok for another 3 weeks and will be back to ride an elephant.... the sad thing is they have chains on the legs of the elephants...... I felt a little sad for... More

Great place to interact with the elephant. A little expensive but we were able to touch and feed the elephants.
