Entertaining bordering on sometimes crazy. Diversity of people and many options for entertainment makes Bangla what it is. I love the Live music of New York and Star Bar, also the small lounge style drinking options. Music, people and colour it always offers fun.

Yes seen this sort of thing before but not my cup of tea. We had my kids where my son it was a little too much - too noisy. My daughter was ok until she scraped her heel (magic Band-Aid worked a treat. I had fun walking but just opens your eyes to how many desperate old people out there. A must to see though

Such a contrast between night and day at this location. During the days, the road is open n so are the bars. U can wander along n check out the market stalls. At night it definitely comes alive! The road closes and out come the spruikers offering ping pong shows n cheaps drinks practically every step you take. Jjst politely say no thank you or shake your head n keep on walking. They are never over bearing n will then leave you alone. Have an open mind n enjoy the experience n take in all the sites. However dont try and have a conversation with a companion as the music playing in every bar n club is so loud! You can also have a bit of fun n have your photo taken with the famous ladyboys of Thailand. (You are required to give them 100 baht donation). Even if you dont want to drink or party in one of the hundreds of bars, take a stroll down Bangla Road just for the experience/atmosphere. Tip: it gets very crowded at night so be aware of your valuables/wallet etc. Im not saying it’s unsafe, but like other major tourist areas that are crowded, there are always the opportunistic thieves/pick pockets.

As we entered this strip we were presented with a flyer that said ‘ Ping Pong & F**k show’ 🤣 which set the benchmark for the evening. We didn’t see any shows 🙁, we sat at the Irish Bar and had a decent meal and plenty to drink and people watched. This road is entertaining and a must visit whilst in Phuket.. not ideal for young kids though..

Tourists should stop by here. Crowded after 8pm with tourists from all over the world, Chinese, Indians, Americans, Europeans, Aussies, Africans, etc.... you name it, u got it. Plenty of bars, a-gogo clubs, cannabis outlets, live music pubs, restaurants. Mostly drink at the bars and people-watching.

Very busy and crowded area. Full of neon filled noisy bars, clubs and restaurants. Lots of girly bars and lady boys. Not my cup of tea. But very lively. Watch your wallets, pick pockets about. Definitely worth experiencing the area.

First time experiencing this street in Patong, Phuket and its ambience was crazy it’s always packed with people, clubs, bars, restaurants, street food, convenience shops,etc. Way too many things to do which is great this is the best place to enjoy the night life in Phuket! Make sure to come see it for yourself if you are around! It’s also located right beside the beach near the Patong beach sign ! Has lots of currency exchange booths and activities booking booths .

I'va had confusing impression. On one hand it's fun place to hang out with friends: music, bars, drinks. On the other hand my it's painful to see all these people working there, their sad eyes pretending to have fun and obliged to entertain tourists. Especially I felt sick of disgusting white men who came there to "buy" people.

Loud during night and too many folks. The street closes at 6:00 pm for traffic . People will sell you anything and dance bars are all over the place . Many shops incase one want to buy merchandise/ perfumes Etc . I had also gone during day and it was total opposite as what you are in night .

Lots of loud music competing against each other. Nighttime: lots of people so be careful of your wallet and lots of ‘sex’ shows on offer. I didn’t like it but a lot of people do. Daytime: not so noisy and you can see the shops/market stalls/bars.
