It's a nice beach when the tide is in but there is so much rubbish everywhere it's such a shame and spoils it

I was not exactly at the beach but I was at a point where I could enjoy Rawai beach from the top. The scenery was AMAZING. There are so many yachts at the sea compare to the other beaches I visited in Phuket. It's beautiful

This is a great beach for moonlight walks or for girl watching at the bars close by, swimming tho; go 5 minutes north to Yanui beach instead.

We popped down here thinking we may sit on the beach and have a swim. But the water was quite low and the beach was full of moorings. Apart from Nikita's the beach bars all sit behind the road which runs along the beach (which is lovely and does good cocktails). It's a good place to catch a boat and... More

Don't go here expecting to swim like we and some others did. Loaded with garbage, sewage leads directly into the beach waters here. Also the Sandy areas are polluted with docked long tail boats all day. The market here was sub par too but seemed to well reflect the image of a local's seafood market.

Rawai Beach is something more used as a working beach for boats and boat transfer. It is great that it's close to many islands you can visit by speedboats or long-tail boats. Didn't see anyone swimming there, except local kids.

Not really a swimming beach, but a great area to eat. There are boat trips offered from there, both longtails and fast boats although we didn't go on any. Many restaurant's seating is set up on the seawall so you can have a good view of the bay.

Great to eat food here but it's not a swimming beach at all Also the area is suffering with far to much traffic over the last 5 years it's almost becoming dangerous to use the roads here

Visited here when my wife and I were staying at Naiharn Beach. We rented a couple of scooters to explore the island. One of the troops we made was to Railay Beach. Very underwhelming experience, full of boat ride touts and rubbish. The beach was dirty and looked lifeless. Not somewhere we will go back to unless we are getting... More
