The view from the cape is a must see both during the day or at sunset. It’s worth putting up with buses of tourists just for that breathtaking view Sunrise is around 6:15 so if you come early you’re basically alone to enjoy snapping a...More

Dont bother going here. If you want to see the sunset over the Bay area there are many others to choose from. This place is a giant touristmagnet arriving with a least 20-30 busses at sunsettime a day.

Sunset was the best ever. To be more challenge, you can walk down til the end with different view. please wear sneaker would be the best option. children and old people are not recommended.

The greatest sunset I’ve ever seen in my life, the only cost is for a tuk tuk or taxi to the the Cape. So so good!!!!!

Fantastic place to come in the evening to catch a breathtaking sunset over a delicious dinner. One of the best things to do in this part of Phuket.

I have always come back to Promthep whenever I visit Phuket. First is to offer incense to the Four Face Buddha shrine (Phra Phrom) that is located on top of the cape. And also for the view. Easy parking as plenty of space.

Beautiful sea views once you push past the crowds to get a good angle. Plenty of good photo opportunities if the lighting is right (got some good shots mid afternoon on a sunny day with a good backdrop). Try to get away from the entrance...More

It's ok. If you're a sunset enthusiast then it's worth waiting for it. Otherwise sunset an any high ground is just as exciting. You can't walk down to the end of the Cape anymore only to the rotunda.

Long drive up to the top, but well worth it with stunning views of the whole island. The elephant shrine at the top is beautiful. Peaceful spot, not many tourists so you can take some great photos of island life.
