I went under the bridge while on the dive boat and then the following day crossed over it into the US to visit Alexandria Bay & Clayton. Both times are pretty impressive and as it turns out not a bad place to cross the border....More

Leave time to explore Wellesley Island and do not neglect to ascend the Tower. Remember to take money for the toll!

This bridge is the tallest and scariest bridge I have ever been on. I drove because I wanted to show my friend Wellesley Island, never again. Last time I went over I was not the driver and I could cover my eyes. Be warned, TALL,...More

Crossed this bridge last week, while spring blossoms were still visible on both shores. The low speed limit offers a relaxing drive and an opportunity to glance at the islands. We spent a couple hours touring in Ontario before returning a bit further north. Recommend...More

I drive over from Montreal and the view at night was beautiful as well. The bridge is well maintained. I will definitely come back during the day to check it out again

this bridge is well maintained, it does have a toll, however, if you travel this bridge often you can get a card. On the Canadian Side is Hill, Island with some tourist stores and the Hill Island Tower that is great to see the islands,...More

The views from the bridge are fabulous. We did not realize that you can walk out on the bridge until we were leaving. If you are not afraid of heights, I'm sure you can get great pictures.

That should plenty of time. There really is not much to see on Wellesley Island. We did the 2 Nations Uncle Sam Boat Tour and got off at Boldt Castle. Depending upon your interest level in the history of the Castle, you will... More
