As a combo with the Boldt Castle admission this was a cool stop, Not much to see, I would have liked more of a guided/spoken tour versus wandering around the boats inside on display. I got more information on the boat cruise we took than...More

Interesting structure, this is self guided and quick with information boards and photos. A tour guide was there to ask questions if needed.. a few boats from the era very nicely restored on display.

Nice structure and excellent example of engineering back in the day. If you like steam punk go here. The guides are very friendly.

We enjoyed it, but collection is quite small and not of interest to everyone. But you can take shuttle to Heart Island from boathouse.

There was a terrific variety of speedboats and pleasure craft of the late 19th - early 20th centuries.

It is worth the very short boat ride from the Boldt Castle (you can also drive to it). Beautiful boathouse and boats. While you get a quick highlight about the Yacht House by the staff, it is a self-guided tour that takes ~15-20 minutes.

Epic boat preservation. It’s a glimpse into the past with the one of a kind boat collection and the massive 100 year old structure that houses them. It’s worth the trip from the castle and will only take half an hour or so.
