We walked a long way from the town center to find the Neapolis site and it was a disappointment . We paid the 5 dinars each entry & I added the 1 dinar for permission to take photos , but had a hard time finding anything worth taking a picture of . The mosaics at the nymphs bath house are in a pitiful state , open to the elements and loosing all their color . The underground sewerage system is about the only thing in a good state sadly . The actual salting site is not much better unfortunately. There are toilets on site and at least it was open unlike Pupput & the archaeological museum in Nabeul , plus the walk was healthy so gets 2 stars instead of 1 .There appears to be a lot more to discover on this site , but not the means to bring the ruins to the surface , which may be a good idea for their preservation as visitors can actually walk on the ancient paving .

The seaview area is a natural coastal spot to spend some quality time on. The place itself requires attention. But for a foreigner it is something new and calm so far away from the commercialised life stye.
