I went up the mountain in March 2017, in bitter cold, and since I was the only one stupid enough to go, had the magical place fully to me! Imagine, being alone to enjoy this lovely monument!

You have to climb to top of the mountain at sun rise or sun set. It can be very cold from October to May. But worth to climb and see the amazing view.

The place should be reached before sunset. You will climb for 30 minutes but after the show of history + nature will begin and it is wonderful.

Hello, I went with Anatolia Tours, a lady called Tijen. She is based in Istanbul but seems to know about everything. Why not contact her and see what ideas she has (completely competent in English)?
