After getting off the Dolmus at the turnoff, it was a 3km steep hike upwards. The 34 degree heat made it strenuous -take plenty of water. When we found it on reaching the top, there was ruin after ruin, dating as far back as 700BC....More

The view is amazing and the best part is that it is for free. Also you see a lot if turtles hanging around there.

A ward of warning, the road up the mountain is very rough! There is a car park at the top and a relatively clean loo. We weren't charged to enter the site although I was expecting a 10TL fee. There is a steep walk up...More

This place all and all is generous in sightseeing also if you're lucky you can pick fruits from deserted houses on you way up.

Go to the castle for the views, not a castle tour. You can actually get great free views by turning right, rather than paying to go in. Costs about 40TL for a taxi driver to run you up, wait an hour, and run you back...More

A little hidden in the mountain. Definitely worth a look and explore the historic city. A lot of history in a small territory.

It takes a little effort to get there, the road is certainly not easy for the car (dirt track), but there's plenty to see and the views are gorgeous, too. One would wish that the authorities took better care of it, though.
