This was fascinating to visit, high on a hill overlooking the valley. Recommended alongside Letoon and nearby Patara with its lovely beach.

Maybe we have been spoiled with Hieropolis and Aphrodisias but we felt Xanthos did not live up to the hype of being a world heritage site. It was untidy, not well maintained and a best would take an hour to walk round. Also at 10TL...More
