- Shivani P5 contributionsBeautiful, Hidden gem.It is very small city, but very beautiful. It is a hidden gem in Turkey. 2 days are enough in Kas. Day trip to Kekova was wonderful. Must visit if you have extra days. Old town looks very beautiful at night. Can have a nice walk at night. There is this cute restaurant called Cinarlar Pizza Garden, if Indian tourist looking for something with more flavour.Visited November 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 9 December 2022
- mich202London, United Kingdom301 contributionsBeautiful but could improveLoved the beach, the water was turquoise clear and refreshing but not cold for late October. Umbrellas and chairs are 100L each. The chairs thou, are those plastic patio furniture that you had in the 90s and for more than a couple of hours were uncomfortable. If I'd gone back I would probably just lay on the sand. There are lifeguards but they weren't really with it, so if you have kids please be ultra aware that duty of care is yours. There's icecream/cafe/corn but I didn't partake. No prices on icecream so didn't bother. There were changing rooms, but come end of day, they reeked of urine and no propper bins for tampons/pads. The beach is lovely, but the Turks really need to find a solution (like the Portuguese) for their cigarette butts. Lost a star for cleanliness.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 23 October 2023

You park up on the mountain road, and then a sturdy staircase leads down to the beach with its fine, coarse sand. On your way down, you'll pass a cafe with snacks and soft drinks, as well as restroom and changing facilities. At the beach itself, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, all at reasonable prices.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 25 October 2023

When we first saw the beach from the road above we were amazed by the colour and the view. And there is much less rubbish on this beach compared to others like Calis. But the sun beds are hard plastic which I found too uncomfortable.

Sea is lovely at this beach, half sand and half pebbly so not perfect,
sun loungers are rock hard with no cushioning and mine didn’t recline flat so not comfortable or too practical,
the staff were very rude and would not provide Wi-Fi no matter what,
the 3 men’s toilets were in a very poor state with no loo roll and they have half a dozen showers for hundreds of people and these and a treck from the beach up a stair climb,
hugely overrated in our opinion.

Beach is world class, the colour of the sea is amazing on par with those in the Indian Ocean, you will stay in the stones so there will be no place for shade unless you get an umbrella which I recommend if you want shade

We came to this beach using motorcycle since it’s far from Kaş center.
To park, the only possibility is at the sides of the road.
For cars is difficult finding place. For motorcycles it’s easy since they occupy less space.
We went here around 4pm. Already some people were going away, but it was still so crowded.
To access the beach, you have to go down from three ramps of stairs, so it’s not accessible to people with disabilities.
The beach is divided in two sides.
The closes side to the stairs is where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas.
The other side you can bring sea things from home and you don’t have to pay anything.
The water was warm and around 5pm waves came.
There is a small restaurant where you can eat and for free, you can use showers and changing rooms.
We recommend this place, at least for one time, if you never went.

Beautiful beach! Yes, it gets really crowded but if you can look past it this has to be one of the best beaches in Turkey! Be aware that the undertow does get very strong as does the current, but there is a line for you to hold onto when you go farther out in the water.

Kaputas plajı giriş ücretli mi?
Melissa P.
Antalya, Türkiye75 contributions

So I booked our hotel in Antalya and I searched for this beach and saw that it takes 3 and 1/2 hrs to see this beauty! What do you recommend the quickest way to get there? Is it worth the trip? Thank you!

Hi! The quickest way is to rent a car. The trip itself is a great fun, you will see a lot of great places on the way. You can make a stop and check all of them. Instead of this overcrowded beach I definitely recommend to stop at one of the small (yet beautiful) beaches on the coastline between Finike and Demre - no crowds there and perfect scenery. Kas in a nice place to visit too.

Hallo,
I was private there with friends and their car, so I can´t answer of your question. Frankly speaking I doubt, because this is not so big beach, and over there ist a little parking for some cars. Try to find out something online...

Kendi içeceğimizi getirebiliyor muyuz? Buzlukla gelsek mesela yine sezlong kiralasak olur mu?
