Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The mosque is near the Manavgat river, you can see it from far away. It is a reduced version of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, a very impressive building. The main dome is 30 metres high, the 4 minarets at its corners are 60 metres high. It opened in September 2004. You can only go inside without shoes and in appropriate clothes (long trousers, covered shoulders, scarves for women, headscarves), but we were not checked. The interior is beautiful: the columns, the coloured windows, the thick carpets, the wall decorations. Very clean. I highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful mosque in Manavgat. Definitely worth a visit. The interior of the mosque is incredible. Women have to have their head, arms and legs covered but the mosque provides head scarves and skirts if you need them.

The mosque is absolutely because mashallah. Unfortunately, since it’s a tourist hotspot, they’re taking advantage of this and charging for the toilets. Me as a Muslim woman, wearing hijab, needed to make ablution. The might I as very rude man at toilet entrance. Did not let me enter unless I paid him 50c. I told him. I don’t have change on me since my husband was not with me at the time.
He knew English very well so there was so language barrier. He rudely pointed at the outdoor water fountain which I couldn’t use since I needed show my arms and hair to make the ablution. I tired telling him he is only charging to make money out of the tourist and he said all mosques in turkey charge…….. I’ve been to 4 cities in turkey. Not one of them charged to make ablution for woman. He was very rude and I’m very disappointed.

I did a day tour and this was one of the stops. All females are given a long skirt and shawl to cover your head.
I have never been in one so i enjoyed it

The staff is very strict regarding outfit, so prepare to dress up decently and according to muslim culture. For women skarf on the head and long skirt is a must.

Even the ablution space is pretty, the carpers inside are thick and beautiful, iznik tiles decorate the pillars. The decorations on the ceiling imitate mosaic, a haven of peace

Impressive painted patterns on all non-floor surfaces and small stained glass windows. Very friendly towards tourists. You just have to stay in the back and upstairs and don't enter the main praying area as the mosque is actively used.
Everyone must take of their shoes. Mens should wear something that covers knees and shoulders. Women something that covers legs, shoulders and hair (there are free to use scarves and skirts at the entrance).
