We actually did a market tour with a chef which was so much fun. We were able to see the fish mongers selling their wares and learn from the chef how to find the freshest fish available. He also took us to various other markets including a tasting at local turkish delight establishment - delicious!

In October 2016 I bought a diamond ring in Azure Jewellery in Kusadasi Market for over £3,000 only to find, on having it valued independently at home, that it was a Moissanite stone which I had never heard of.Whilst in the shop I asked Murat Dincer three times to prove that the stone was a diamond and 3 times he... I was at the market a few years back and I have to say that the fake designer shirts are as good as the real thing. Don't normally waste my money on imitations but I have had a red fake Burberry now for three years and the red is still bright and sticking and cut is real quality.

July -2015 We forgot to change our 50 euro before entering the market. Our tips to visitors is to never show your money, no mattet what. I know Turkish salesmen are ongoing, but thees were ekstreme. They tricked us, and never gave back our change... all the store had the same, so walk trough the hole thing before buying anything!

Bought some 'Zultanite', a rare gemstone, at reasonable price but not so low as to excite suspicion. Appraised in the UK for insurance. It is coloured glass. He should be locked up.

Lot of shops selling fake and cheap shirts and shoes. The shop owners are verry unpleasant trying to get you in to there shop. Absolutely not worth the time.

My family and I really like Kusadasi town and the market is a stone throw from the sea front. If you're looking for "genuine fakes" of all the popular brand names this is the place for you - however with so many of the shops spilling out onto the streets there's much competition and the vendors stand or sit outside... I spend all day looking for something to worth but unfortunately I didn't find nothing except of stores to buy clothes and leather jackets. To be honest if you are the kind of people that love to shop this your place. Have money and lot of courage to bargain.
