Sarımsaklı is one of the nicer beaches in the balıkesir area. Nice clean, clear beach. Food and water easily accessible as there are a few little cafes and vans around. Good place to take the kids.

We only passed through but... the beach is amazing and goes on for ever but the town is not great. Shabby, naff and full of tatt. But probably cheap to stay there, just not not our style.
