Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited Rose Valley as part of a Quad tour. It’s one of many startlingly beautiful landscapes in Cappadocia. A great place for photos and a great place to have a cold drink on a hot day. But make sure to ask the price of the drink before ordering. Vendors like to take advantage of foolish tourists like… me!

We drove up here with friends and a bottle of wine, parked in the car park, hiked a short distance and sat and drank wine and watched the sunset. It was really lovely, the landscape looked incredible as light changed.

You can drive up to the bottom of the valley and then have a stroll around. Lots of ATVs nearby, so stay alert. Beautiful colour of rocks.

This is a good 2.5 hour walk. The scenery is lovely and higher up there are no quad bikes to disturb you. The walk back to Goreme is another half hour. Near the top we bought orange juice from Mevelut and Alma for TL50. They showed us their charming garden

If you are in Cappadoccia, you should visit the Rose Valley. You might have a chance to see it if you will take a hot balloon your. However, if you do like trekking, you will enjoy to walk in the Valley. The Valley is located in between Göreme and Çavuşin.

We hiked the Meskiendir, Rose and Red Valley trails starting just up by Kaya Camping. With the round trip from Goreme, we logged in about 14 miles. The trails were completely unpopulated and beautiful. That said, the signage to the trails were often scarce and the terrain challenging, so this is not a casual hike for those who are not used to some challenges and occasional steepness. If you can pull this one off, it's worth it.

Hiking through the rose valley was an amazing experience. The scenery leaves you in awe and some of the viewpoints are breathtaking. Best of all if you do the hike yourself it's free.
