Fantastic magical place! We visited here using the red tour set up by our hotel. If you're planning on visiting in July / August make sure to wear a hat and sunscreen. It can get a bit warm :)

The park is a must to visit. Its a 2-3 hour hike and walk around the paved park. Wait for the sun to set a bit. Ideal time after 5 pm in the evening

Some of the best churches steeped in history. Do t miss the dark church with beautiful frescoes. It's very hot walking around in July so aim for early morning or late afternoon.

Very interesting and unexpected experience to visit Goreme. It will be more interesting if responsible people allow guides telling story about this place to tourists while follow them. In spite of this fact we have got unforgettable feelings.

About a 15 minute walk from Goreme centre. I went around 5pm on a Saturday but it was still fairly busy. This is part of the museum pass so if you view here and church inside you just need to view something else to make...More
