Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Part of Imagination Valley which is great to go down. If you look around you can have lots of fun making shapes in the rocks, as well as the camel, we saw a seal and an elephant. A good fun half hour.

Devrent Valley or also, Imagination Valley - animal-shaped fairy chimneys.
This is a place to let your mind run free in a seemingly lunar landscape with rock formations that look like animals.

The Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley or Rose Valley, has none of the cave churches, Byzantine frescoes or Roman citadel ruins that are famous throughout the rest of Cappadocia; but what it does have is an extraordinary landscape shaped by nature to make you laugh and wonder and explore.
Great!

Devrent Valley, or Imagination Valley, is a great stop for all ages. It is right off the road where many locals and tourists are milling around. The draw are the fantastical creatures that are formed by the volcanic activity and erosive action over millions of years. The animals and objects you see are only limited by your imagination. We saw a massive camel, a lion, fingers on a hand, a rabbit and snake. It is a picture taking spot that you can also hike around. There were no limitations that we saw and no entrance fees. In case you are hungry or thirsty, vendors are located at the stop. We didn't see and WC but weren't really looking for one. This is a great short stop with another variety of geologic activity.

Camel rock is part of the imagination valley. The kids enjoy it trying to imagine whirling dervish or some bird. The camel rock is the most clear one. However, to me it looked more like a llama than a camel. Overall ok .

Definitely worth a stop as aside from the rock shaped like a camel, there are other attractive red rock formations to view. Free parking.

Some of these rocks look incredible unstable... I guess it might topple in another few thousand years :D
The different layers correspond to different ages and are hard/ soft; which is why some layers are more eroded than others.
incredible. Not many tourists in early Nov. It was cold. Around 10C.
